Dereninger Camera Repair

Lady who answered the door was very kind. Repairman nowhere around. She showed closets full of cameras waiting for repair and said no way they could calibrate my camera for several months. Given the backlog, I doubt they could even get to it then. Either no work gets done here. Or, since nobody does traditional camera work perhaps they are perpetually swamped. In any case, your not going to get any service here.

Just went into this place because my daughters camera isn't loading film and needed them to look at it. The lady in there had to unlock the door to let us in..during open hours, then wouldn't even look at the camera stating it was digital. Its not digital. She then said he wouldn't work on it because its plastic, its not plastic. Its a really nice, older, Nikon. She refused to even look at it. Horrible service.

This is the coolest little camera shop. Arch and his wife are both very knowledgable and provide full service repair. They also have a really great collection of used, high-quality film cameras. Highly recommended

I will confirm they are NOT permanently closed. You have to knock on the door and they will let you in.
