Poor customer service. Scheduled an appointment for Dr. Boulos for my 7 month old baby. I called and email them my daughters insurance few hours before the visit. No one called back or email back that the insurance is out of network. So I was thinking all is okay. When I got there filing all the paper works then they will tell you that the insurance is out of network and I need to pay out of pocket. Such poor customer service, non apologetic. Will never refer this to my friends.
The worst dermatology office with terrible scheduling. I saw a female doctor with short blonde hair. The doctor was almost two hours late then rushed me through my appointment in the minutes to essentially have it be a meet and greet and “let’s push it back to another appointment”. I asked if I had anything due and the front desk said no because my appointment didn’t happen. Like so many horror stories in the reviews before mine, they bait and switched me. They ended up charging my insurance to the fullest for an appointment that didn’t happen and threatened to send me to collections and ruin my credit. These people are scammers and liars… do not trust them, the doctors are not good look at the other reviews where the procedures went wrong…DO NOT COME HERE! You will regret it like we all did :
I was referred to Dr. Boulos by another dermatologist retired. He said she was awesome. I was greeted warmly and didn't even have time to check out my phone when I was called back. Her staff was very friendly and she introduced herself, said she uses a 'systematic' approach and examined me from head to toe. She was thorough. Then she took off some suspicious spots painlessly. Then gave me skin care advice to use a certain regimen with face wash, moisturizer and sunscreen. All personally recommended by her. She even gave me suggestions on a therapeutic shampoo. I was astounded by her professionalism, dedication and abilities. I will be back in 6 months and I would recommend her to anyone.
Human Resources is the main issue here. You have a department that’s in charge of managing multiple departments and they can’t perform the roles themselves. There are no plans for growth or cross training. Employees have been allowed to work from home remotely, make their own schedules that doesn’t benefit the business, they put forth more effort to make you leave them to make you feel like you want to stay. If you’re not friends with the Large Marge that’s in charge, you’re pretty much out of the door. There’s no way you can run a successful clinic with disgruntled employees, supporting staff. If you’re hired here my advice would be to work under a doctor. They will recognize your hard work. If you choose administration work in billing, they’re a great department with Mean Girls like energy. DSA is such a great place to lose your mind.
I saw Dr. Boulos for several months for Accutane. She was great, but her front office staff is the worst I've ever dealt with. My first appointment involved a wait of over an hour. Two of my telehealth appointments apparently were never written on anyone's books - both times, I called the office and no one had record of my scheduled appointments. Because Accutane is heavily regulated, monthly visits are time sensitive. When these appointments were missed, it delayed me getting my monthly prescription. I also had issues with billing. On multiple occasions, I self-paid for office visits, only to receive a bill associated with a denied insurance claim for the same visit. It seems like the front office and billing departments have no process for ensuring self-pay visits aren't billed through insurance. Rather than correct the problem, both billing and the front office acted like this was a frequent occurrence and the only resolution was for me to pay the difference to balance their books. I liked Dr. Boulos, but I won't be going back because the staff is so bad.
I've suffered with hormonal acne for many years! Dr. Boulos cleared my acne after the first visit!! Wish I came to her sooner, she is knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your concerns! I highly recommend, you will not regret!
Very poor customer service. I was only need to ask one question but none of them were able to answer it without giving me an attitude. They were transferring too many times where I was on hold for almost 15 minutes when I called back, the same thing happened. When I asked to not hold, she got annoyed. Not recommend at all.
Dr. Goldberg is a world renown dermatologist. Always excellent. Nurses are great!
I have been going to Dr. Boulos for some years now, and she is great! Very personable, and such a delight to talk to. Her staff on the other hand could care less about the patient. For the past week I have called 5 different times for a refill request. Out of those 5 times I was only given one call back, which I couldn't answer because I was at work. When I try to call them back I just get routed back to her nurses voicemails. I finally got through to them, told them how upset I was and no one seemed to care. You can tell they are not bothered by causing patients stress. In their voicemail greeting they guarantee they will call you back as soon as possible, and they don't. They don't apologize, they are not even close to sympathetic. I get there are so many places that are understaffed, but it doesn't give someone the excuse to dismiss the patient's concerns. I hope they do better.
I am so grateful for Dr. Boulos! I came in for an annual skin check and she noticed a suspicious mole, which she biopsied and it came back as melanoma. She quickly was able to get me in to MD Anderson and put me on a schedule to monitor my other moles. She and her office has always been so helpful and kind with my diagnosis and treatment plan, and I love getting to see them every 3 months! I've recommended several local family members and friends over to Dr. Boulos.
