Desert Spring Renovation

We contacted Desert Springs to assist with designing and installing our backyard landscaping. From our first meeting with Kevan our landscape designer we could tell that this company exhibits exceptional professionalism and attention to detail. In particular, Kevan not only came up with a beautiful design, but also kept in mind the cost and placement of materials, and advised us on which materials would work best for our space and budget. Ultimately, we decided to install a patio cover, seating patio with stone bench garden bed, granite entertainment area, and synthetic turf in our yard. We also had drip irrigation installed for each plant, and a dedicated sprinkler system set up for the garden bed. Once we agreed upon a design, Kevan provided all of the documents we needed to get everything approved with our HOA, and we had no issues getting our design approved by the board. After construction started, Foreman Jose Soto & Field Supervisor Mario along with the rest of their team were incredibly hardworking, quick, and efficient. Every paver, plant, and stone for our backyard and garden bed were placed with precision and in exactly the right spot. Our plants and gravel also look perfect. We are so happy that we chose Desert Springs and we will definitely be using their company for any future landscaping projects! ** At the time of this review, Desert Springs’ team has finished their part of the job—we are just waiting for the subcontractors to install the patio cover!

My pool needed rehab and I chose Desert Springs Renovations. They had built our previous pool in Green Valley in 1994 and did excellent work, so I contacted them about our current pool's complicated remodel. Their bid was competitive, the work was professionally carried out, and I was very happy with the results. A minor problem occurred after the work was done and they stood behind their work and redid it. One of the best pool contractor experiences I've had over 3 pools. I also decided to use them for pool maintenance and have been super happy with the service, professionalism, and results.

Desert Springs will absolutely not follow through on anything not in writing. I do think my pool came out fine. It works, but expect to do clean up on your own. The excavation crew damaged my brick wall. The repair was to plaster it in a color that clearly identifies it is patched. But also leave all the scratches behind. The plaster crew dumped out plaster in any space they felt it was appropriate, to include a wall and pavers. DS said they would clean it, that never happened. I did appreciate our project manager, but simple texts of status would have been appreciated as we didn't know what was happening. They cut the buried coax line and never said anything. That left it up to us to find it. They will leave piles of rock in front of your driveway as well. After telling them I didn't want to use their pool maintenance company I felt their instruction was rushed. I was even told to figure out where my pool cleaner hooks up myself. They didn't install the valve and that was on me. Easy, but they should have at least been able to tell me which nozzle. Edit: Updated to 4 stars for customer service 2 months after completion.

The customer service has declined over the past few months. Their responsiveness to existing customers has deteriorated. We expect more since this is our second pool with them. It's a minor repair but the communication has been awful. The vendor they work with does not communicate with you for setting up a date and time. They did show up out of the blue, one day, and we happened to be out of town. He was rude and used vulgarity, via our Ring doorbell because we wouldn't let him into our backyard. I have recommended several people over the years and a current neighbor. It seems like their current clients are their priority and not existing. Beware going forward. Desert Springs Renovation is 1 of 3 divisions of Desert Springs Pool and Spa. The owners name is Lyn. If they check their records better and talk to their Customer Service representative they will see we have a claim. I used this division since the other website didn't have a place for reviews. The address location is the same place we signed the contract for the design and landscaping. I'll be happy to update my claim once it is resolved. 30 days and counting...

My Pool was 18 years old and tired, it needed new plaster, painted faux rocks, pool lights and some deck need to be ripped out, replaced. I contracted Desert Springs Renovations and very happy that I did. First, the Bid came in on my budget and time frame; from start to finish took 6 weeks. Second the work preformed at each stage was excellent, and each crew that came out to do work were very professional and knowledgeable. Last and most important the Renovations Coordinator Starr did an amazing job, her communications with me were top notched, I always felt like I was in good hands. So Glad I used this company. They are an ALL-Star team.

My pool was done by Desert Springs Pool company three years ago and I use them for maintenance as well. It is professional company and the team assist the construction process well. The pool was completed on schedule with my expectation. I used them for maintenance. The maintenance guy Ray did a great job. The Warranty department Shelly is very responsible for something which need take care for the pool. They will send people quickly. Really appreciated the service provided by Desert Springs .

I have used Desert Spring for Pool Maintenance ever since our pool was built. We have never had a problem! Our guy shows up every week and does a great job keeping our pool clean and crystal clear! I love that they also send a log of what chemicals were added as well as before and after pictures of every service. I highly recommend them if you need a pool maintenance company!

Our salesman Al is very disrespectful, condescending, non responsive and has anger issues with his customers. He is not there to help you, but to make a sale for his pocket. Our appointment with Al at Desert Springs pools and Spas on Valley View, was on Saturday July 10, 2021.We spent maybe 2 hours with Al and he said to us at the end of our meeting, “ I thought you said you were ready to sign”! He was angry when I could not decide on a design and now I wanted to think about it. He was also protective of showing us the price. It was like Top Secret. Maybe he thought we were going to steal his pricing. He’s a JOKE! Just so everyone in Las Vegas knows his price for a nice size pool and spa was $76,000 and if we went without the spa it would be $62,000. My husband and I only wanted a little time to make a decision, which would've been the pool and spa. The reason I am writing this review is because no one should ever be treated that way. I requested Al to email me our drawings and he said he would. This was after I called him out at the end of our meeting. I told Al that he was being very disrespectful to me and I felt pressured by him to make a decision. It is now 5 days later and no email of our drawing, I'm not surprised. If you do choose Desert springs pools and spas, just be warned of AL. Choose someone else, maybe you'll have a better experience. I have read the other poor reviews prior to our appointment, but wanted to give them a chance to earn our business. Now looking back at some of these reviews they must be talking about Al because the reviews sounds exactly how we were treated by him. Sad! We will take our business somewhere else.

We have had a great experience with Desert Springs Pools! From our blank canvas backyard to fully landscaped and a competed pool. Paul designed our pool and from all the quotes and designs we received it was a no brainer to go with him. He listened to our needs, wish list, and budget and delivered everything. Everyone that came to work at our house were professional and trustworthy. I'd hire them all again, in a heartbeat!

We're in the process of having a pool built. So far we have been nothing but please with Desert Springs. Chandler was our sales person and he did a great job figuring out a design based upon what we discussed. He was good about changing things for us. Brandon and Dan have been awesome to deal with. They have moved quickly and helped us make adjustments along the way. The pool isn't done yet but so far the experience has been better than I thought it would be. Great Job to Desert Springs!
