Very nice attention to detail welcoming us Looks like they had a cash bar, but we didn't get there early enough to check it out Intimate seating, meaning there are maybe five rows surrounding the stage and you almost fell like your an extra in the cast you are so close go to the bathroom before because no one wrote that post into the script outside of intermission lol Because the seating is so intimate they require masks to protect you and the cast who are very close to the audience and provide some of you forgot like I did. Very nice experience!
Right in Detroit. Beautifully engineered and decorated. Clean, positive atmosphere. Cozy, great for live performances so the actors can feed off the energy from the audience. Masks are encouraged and enforced for the safety of all who exist together in that space. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. All forms of art are invited to partake in this intimate space not just theatre.
Small, but mighty! An intimate theater that is right in Detroit's Midtown, where the performers are so close that you can almost touch them.
My first time at the Detroit Public Theatre. We saw NOURA, an amazing play by Heather Raffo. The venue is very nice with an intimate setting. We will definitely be back!
This company produces thought provoking works with talented actors, nice designs, and good direction. The new space is beautiful.
The venue is lovely and intimate. Perfect for Heather Raffo's Noura; of which I would give 10 's!
The productions here are excellent and the theater itself is a beautiful space. Don't miss a single show.
