Working with Pat was so easy, and the results were really lovely. It's so difficult to find a reliable hand engraver these days, and Pat was responsive, flexible, kind, and honest. He gained my trust right off the bat when he told me that he'd have to see the metal first to determine what would be possible rather than just taking on the job sight unseen. The timeline that we worked on was quick, and the price was more than fair. Once you give him a call, you can proceed via email, but he will only be able to check it when he is at home. Otherwise, he'll respond by phone if he is in his studio. The process felt collaborative but also educational, and I'd go back to him again.
Not only is it a real pleasure dealing with Pat, his workmanship is superb. Also I'm very grateful for the advice given when looking for possible outcomes, what can and can't be done. And his prices are very reasonable. If you need something engraved, don't hesitate to go to him, just ring him up first!
We drove from NJ because no one else could do what Pat could. We made an appointment and showed up early and, lucky for us, Pat was able to accommodate us right then. We explained what we were looking to have done, he listened to our every concern and need. Pat took care of our request much quicker than we we expected. We couldn't be happier with his service. Pat is one of a kind, super nice and personable in addition to providing excellent service. The service and quality far exceeds his more than fair prices. We highly recommend Pat.
I had two kiddish cups, gifts to our granddaughters for their Bat Mitzvahs, engraved. John, whom all call Pat, is a craftsman and a gentleman. He is a pleasure to work with, and his prices are very fair. We are so glad he offers his artistry in Philadelphia. Excellent experience! Pat did a lovely job of engraving an antique sterling silver pint tankard. He did it in exactly the time frame he said he would and I think his price was excellent value. Highly recommended.

I'm a last minute person... I was getting married on october 9th, I bought my wife to be a braclet from Tiffanys but couldn't get it ingraved on time from them.
