Different Duck Films, LLC is a New York City-based production company, run by award winning filmmaker, director, and producer Rob Margolies.

Different Duck Films, LLC first movie (“Lifelines”) featured Jane Adams (HBO’s “Hung”), Dreama Walker (“Don’t Trust the B— In Apt. 23”), Joe Morton (“Scandal”, “Terminator 2″), and Josh Pais (“Ray Donovan”), was purchased and distributed by Kanbar Entertainment after it won several awards at various film festivals. Margolies’ second movie (“She Wants Me”) is getting distributed worldwide and stars Josh Gad (“Frozen”, “The Book of Mormon”), Hilary Duff, Wayne Knight, and Charlie Sheen, among other stars. Different Duck Films third movie (“2br/1ba”) stars Alexa Vega (“Spy Kids”), Spencer Grammer (“Greek”), and Kathryn Morris (“Cold Case”), and it was purchased by Lionsgate, to be released in 2015.

Our company offers a variety of services, including producing film and tv productions, actor demo reels, actor coaching and feedback, finding investors for feature films, business plan creation, production consultation, screenplay analysis, and private consultation, plus follow-up.
