John did an excellent job on my highlights. He also suggested something that no one else did. He fixed the hair freeze that I had for decades. I dont know what he used, but it was quick and worked wonders! My hair hasn't looked so good in many years. With that said, be careful with who you trust your hair, even for a simple blow dry, because not everyone is as great at that salon, but I highly recommend John, the owner.Service: Hair highlighting

I went to Dimaggio’s for the first time and John was wonderful! He took the time to explain different hair coloring processes/techniques to me. Most places I’ve been to don’t take the time to explain their techniques to me or the different options they have. John and Yvette one of the assistants at the salon were personable and friendly and made me feel welcomed! I’ve been looking for years for a salon that would treat me like how a good customer should be treated and I think I have found my place! John did an amazing job with my highlights and getting the caramel overlay color I liked. My hair was styled nicely too- never seen my hair with so much volume! I was also pleasantly surprised that the whole process didn’t take too long- most salons I’ve been to would keep me there for 5-6 hours! Thanks John for your expertise and good service! I have been going to DiMaggio since they opened. John the owner is very nice and accommodating. Robin is my hairdresser and in my opinion one of the very best hair cutters I have ever seen. She is very detailed making sure your hair comes out perfect every time. Linda does my color and she is a scientist. She mixes color like no other, she is right on every time. And applies to perfection. Place is great, I still travel from NJ to Brooklyn and would never change where I get my hair done. They are number 1. :
