If you’re looking for top notch, force free dog training help, I highly recommend Susan! My partner and I first met Susan when we were struggling with our reactive Cattle Dog. Lucy had transformed from a perfect puppy into a barking, lunging mess. She didn’t want to be handled and wouldn’t let us put her harness on. And she was increasingly uncomfortable with strangers. Susan knows her stuff about dogs! She was able to craft an easy-to-follow training plan for us that led to positive changes in Lucy’s behavior. I’m so grateful my husband and I found Susan! She is truly a neighborhood gem, and has a truly unique gift with dogs. We’ve first joined her puppy playgroup class which was tremendously helpful as a safe way to socialize our puppy Juno. It’s really hard to teach your pup how to set limits with other dogs no biting my tail! and how to get over shyness - by just going to a dog park alone. In our experience older/bigger dogs often don’t have the patience for a young pup and or never were properly socialized themselves! Susan is a wonderful trainer and helped us with our 6 month old labradoodle pup who was having issues with handling, impulse control and walking. We've seen a great improvement in his behaviors and still reach out to her now over a year later for advice!
