District 7 Grill

We were in Houston for only a couple days. This spot was so good, we ate here every night. It is definitely a hidden gem and we will be going back the next time we're in town. Added bonus was that parking was a breeze. I would've posted a burger pic, but it was so good it didn't last long on my plate.

This place reminds me of a throwback diner style. The food was delicious, the service was great. I would definitely recommend to out of towners like myself. Prices are a little higher than I'm used to but not ridiculously over priced. The food and service were worth it.

Whew! After not eating all day, I was dying for some fulfilling delicious food! Well, you’re probably wondering whether the wait was worth it?!? Yes!! I had the Blackened Mahi-mahi picatta and when I say that the flavors all meshed oh so well, I mean it! I have never cleaned a plate like that in one setting! The portion was appropriate and the mushrooms set it off. Some of the spinach was cooked and some wasn’t. The soggy/crunchy mixture gave my tastebuds a run for their money! I couldn’t have picked a better place to eat! Great money spent and great customer service!

We had such a wonderful time! Bunch is amazing! We started with mamosa‘s and crawfish hush puppies. They are sprinkled in powdered sugar and served with a spicy honey. It looked lovely and tasted sooo good. I was surprised! Everything was delicious!!! It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We will be back.

Salad was excellent! Burger was good but a little under seasoned. Small but decent beer selection! Overall, a great place with indoor/outdoor seating and fast service!

First time here and it didn't let me down! We had burgers and they were delicious We will be back. Server was attentive and courteous. It makes a difference!

Food is worthy of 5 stars and our waiter was great. However, before we got to that point the seating situation was irritating. We request a table inside in a current heatwave they sat us at a table we waited for at least 10 mins for service before some staff member came and told us we would have to sit outside because the table they sat us at was only meant for 2 guest even though it was a table set up for 6 and there was only 5 of us said the table blocked the restroom. So I’m wondering why they sat us there and even had a table that large set up anyway that “blocked” the restroom. Other than the layout and logistics of the restaurant the food was really good. I would just maybe recommend one of the other locations

Just a really big fan of this restaurant whenever I come to town for business. Great menu, everything tastes fresh, and service has always been great. I look forward to my next visit!

Location: West side of the edge of downtown in a diner style building that feels like a rail car maybe it is?. Seats around 20-25 inside. They also have outdoor seating for maybe 10-15. Food: The ingredients were all fresh and not cheap. Food looked very good. Fries tasted great. The burgers were just ok. Service: Very good. We got 2 refills during lunch, which is my gauge for an attentive server. She was good. Is a nice place, but the food wasn't that great.

The food was really good. I loved the brussel slaw. It wasn't what I expected but it was really good. The sweet potato fries were delicious, so was the burger.Recommended dishes
