Reviews
I usually do not post reviews, let alone negative reviews but my experience at Divine Nail Spa was underwhelming and disappointing. I went to receive a basic gel manicure for the first time at this nail spa 5 days ago. When I went in the establishment was clean and nicely decorated however that was the extent of my positive experience. When the woman began my nails I am unsure of her name but she sat at the first table on the left I was optimistic but nervous of the service. First I informed the lady that I had a bad break in one of my nails and needed it to be fixed, I wanted it to be fixed with a little bit of acrylic which has been done on my nails multiple times to seal the break and keep it from breaking further. The woman refused and continued along with other nail techs to try and push me to getting a more expensive service, dip on my nails. I told them multiple times that I was uninterested and just wanted regular gel and the nail fixed with some acrylic. For the entire service I was being prodded with questions on why I was not doing dip, how I should do dip, etc. She started my manicure and did not clean my cuticles, and shaped my nails poorly. She then took my nail that was broken and another nails that had a very slight break and began to use the dip powder on them. When I contested that I did not want that service she told me that's the only way she was going to fix my nail. She put my 2 nails in dip about 5-6 times making them extremely thick and lumpy, which she did not file or buff to make them thinner or look cleaner or less bumpy. She then began on the gel which she did about 4 coats of making a the gel look also thick. The polish job was also sloppy and was streaky, with some having bumps in the polish from debris getting on my nails while wet and her not taking the time to get it off before continuing to polish. I was extremely upset when looking at them but believe in paying for services that were rendered. The service cost me $49, and that was plus an additional cost for the repair with the dip specifically that I did not want. My final straw however was how my nails have already begun to chip and I have not had them for a week yet. I am quite upset to say the least. I emailed the business today with my grievance and stated that the only remedy I was looking for was a full refund for the service. The email was reply back with a name and phone number which I called. The woman, I believe her name was Hollee Ho, was extremely rude on the phone declaring they would not offer me a refund and the only thing I could do was come in to get the service redone. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable with that remedy since this was my first time at the salon and it was so unpleasant she told me then they would not remedy the situation for me. I informed her that I would be leaving a review on my experience if this issue was not remedied and dispute the charge with my bank she told me sarcastically "good luck, anyone who has tried to get a dispute has never won except once." I was disappointed in the response I received and the pure lack of professionalism that was displayed to me. All I have to say is save your money and go somewhere else it is not worth the hassle, unprofessionalism, attitude, or bad manicure.
I very much enjoyed the time I spent. It was relaxing. The tech listened to what I wanted and the atmosphere was really nice.the only thing was the wait even though I'd made an appointment. I made the appointment for 1:30pm arrived at 1:25pm and I wasn't seen for around 15 minutes after that.Service: Manicure
I’ve been seeing Amy regularly for the past 6 months getting gel acrylics and pedicures and she is meticulous! They’re always beautiful and she is thorough. She also gives a great hand and arm massage for those of us on computers all day My color lasts 3-4 weeks and still looks good minus growth. I’ve never had gel last so long. The salon is clean and they have complementary drinks available and a lot of colors to choose from.Services: Acrylic nails
Very disappointed in this place and highly don’t recommend. First off it’s expensive compared to other places then the techs don’t know how to manage their time. The place double books their techs, which caused them to rush and not do a clean job on nails. And they never give you a realistic time on how long you need to wait for service, even after you have an appointment you’ll always wait to been seen here! They’re short staffed. Also, the nail techs get really rough and have an attitude when because they’re stressed. Point blank - don’t waste your time/money going here . There are so many other nail salons nearby… thank me later !!Service: Dip powder
Walked in without an appointment and was assisted right away. Overall, friendly staff, was offered a beverage. Amazing service by Nina, had a great spa pedicure and gel manicure. Will definitely go back.Service: Manicure
Loved it!!!! They took me in fast as a walk in. The price is so worth the quality! Can't believe it! I haven't had my nails looking so good in ten years! Love!
I’ve been going to Divine for almost a year and absolutely love it. Everyone is kind and very professional. The place itself is clean and has great decorations. I highly recommend Nina! She’s amazing.
Im upset with this place due to lack of service i came in on my lunch break and was in the shop for 2 hours . I asked for a specific look and shower picture/video, i was told the style could be completed however that was not true because they were missing a specific powder in order to complete the look which i found out during the end of my service. Instead i had to settle for a style that i completely hate . I informed them once i was off of work and i was pretty much told it was my fault. Some type of accommodation should have been in place it was evident before i left the shop that i was not happy but since i was pressed for time i had to deal with this. Smh im definitely annoyed by this
THIS IS THE BEST NAIL SALON IVE EVER BEEN TO! I've gotten designs and they take their time to make sure it is just right. If you are in the area i highly suggest giving it a try it was so good. 10/10
