Love Dixon Mills. The location is AMAZING, the people are great. And the units are so beautiful and unique. I found some people homes there, and they are all very happy.
Great complex of 4 buildings with individually owned condos converted from a pencil factory in the 80s. Can find lots of hidden gems - apartments to rent or buy. Good amenities when not COVID...gym, basketball court, grills in courtyards, parking, sauna, movie lounge, rec space and management including concierge and security.
I've been living here for 3 years. Overall have nothing to complaint. The staff is very helpful. Neighbors are friendly and quiet. Security is good. Facilities are clean, floors are clean and the cleaning lady is friendly too....good experience.
Lived here for 7 years, great place. No complains. Like any large condo complex we've had our challenges but that never made us think about moving anywhere else. We love how unique our apartment is and how vibrant the neighborhood has become.
I have lived in Dixon Mills for over 5 Years and love it. It is an amazing community especially if you have young kids. It has everything you want at your finger tips and you can't beat the commute time into NYC! The management and maintenance staff are amazing too, truly invested in making it a special place to live.
I lived here for a year, it was wonderful. The office staff were professional and friendly, the building and duplex were beautiful. It's close to the Path train, commuting across the Hudson is quick and easy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and if it weren't for my fiancé getting a job transfer to Florida we would have stayed. I recommend Dixon to anybody looking for a great place to live that's close to quick transportation into Manhattan, this is it.
In 2018, it would make 5 years living at DM. In 5-10 minutes you are in walking distance to some great eateries, Grove St. Path and a handful of urban parks. Street parking can be a challenge at times. Because it's a historic building doing renovations have to be approved by the city. Neighbors are generally nice and friendly. The condo board tends to have their heads on straight, during my time here. I have no complains about mgmt staff and maintenance team is excellent!
Historic pencil factory turned condos. Some of the original furnaces were preserved and give the inside hallways that connect all the condos a lot of charm.
Super cool layout! The courtyards are so nice. This place as a ton of great amenities.
Tons of windows & a skylight but no natural light penetrates.
