I love the unique things at Djuna. I stop whenever I can and I have bought several well-priced items from wall hangings from India, jewelry, a tray and other interesting items. They are always very helpful with just the right amount of attention and suggestions.
Was looking for a new dining room table. Went in three times to work with owner. Gave her my business card twice with contact info including email. I gave an idea of the style of furniture I was looking for, size of room. Each time she said she would email some choices. She never followed through. Ended up buying dining room furniture and couch from Howard Lorton. Not sure why things transpired the way they did. She seemed very sincere. There products are unique. I think that is why I tried three times. It was unfortunate.
My husband and I are antique shoppers and we’re really excited to go into the store. We opened the door and a large dog came rushing towards us, barking. Now, NOT everyone is a dog lover, in fact some may be afraid of dogs. We quickly closed the door and waited until one of the two white women sitting at the desk, who looked straight at my large black husband, would come to get the dog and welcome us into their establish, but NOPE. Clearly our money and business wasn’t welcomed. It’s too hard to accuse this behavior as not race based. We’ll take our money somewhere where we are welcomed!
I visited this store recently and was pleasantly surprised. They are conveniently located, and have a lot of great looking furniture. I Highly recommend visiting this place.
I dropped in here yesterday. They were very polite and super helpful. They have a great selection of furniture and decor.
