Doc's World of Beer

Love going to this place. It's got a big selection for such a small store and the owner, in my experience, has always gone above and beyond if there was ever anything I couldn't find. Great store and great staff.

The comment below from Nick Gerardo is not accurate. For one there is no Wegmans or Whole Foods anywhere near this beer distributor to even compare. It’s clear Nick only gives negative reviews. Ricky the owner is local to the Plymouth Meeting area and goes above and beyond for his regulars. Pricing is fair and selection is great. Stop here and you won’t be disappointed.

I really don’t find this place that amazing. Their beer selection is OK, I feel Wegmans has a better selection and also a Whole Foods. It’s also a little overpriced. I do understand it small businesses need to make money but also I do feel things do not need to be so expensive. Also not a very friendly environment. But if you’re just looking for some beer and this is the closest place. Then I guess this should be a great place to stop by and get a beer.

The owner is just the nicest guy. We asked him about a vague type of beer once and he had it the next time we were in. They are always carrying different and interesting beer. I will never go to any other beer distributor. Doc’s is the best.

Great beer selection! I did the mix n match 6 pack. It’s pricier than what I’m used to though. I love the selection of gourmet meat sticks. I’ll definitely come back here to sit and have a beer some time!

Pretty good selection for a small place in the Andorra Shopping Center. Decent range of craft beer in 6-packs and cases. Too bad the realtor is making them squeeze into a smaller space in the near future. Had to knock a star off after finding that a 6-pack I'd purchased from their fridge in June 2018 had a best-by date in Oct 2017. C'mon, at least go through your stock and mark past-date stuff down on sale or something.

Really nice selection of beers, however watch the 'best before' date, especially on imports. Saw twice now expired stuff on the shelf. Also the store is currently kept at 90F due to no AC for some reason, I am sure that can't be good for the beer...

They have a pretty decent selection, although not quite what their tag line "specializing in imports and microbrews" would have you believe. Also found it to be very poorly organized and the staff was not very knowledgeable.

Ricky is great. So helpful and friendly too. Wouldn’t buy from anyone else.
