All of a sudden the contact numbers are out of service and I have not received email response. I payed and went through the whole program and I am not sure if my loans are taken care of. I am terrified that it was a scam and that I will be sued and that I still owe the money. If I am mistaken I would love to hear back from the company.
From the beginning, I thought Documents Done Right was an honest company. However, after more research and talking with my university, family, and friends, I decided to move forward without their services no hard feelings. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to cancel my account. Not only was I on the phone for hours, I got hung up on twice when I stated that I would like to cancel my account. Furthermore, the whole demeanor of the people I spoke too changed, they became irate and rude when I said I wanted to cancel. Once I clearly stated that I wanted to cancel my account and receive a refund they took $239 out of my bank account they begrudgingly agreed to a refund and to cancel my account I heard them say “DAMN IT” in the background which is very unprofessional. The only reason I am leaving this review now is because I still require my refund which they promised me. I am a recent college grad and would have used that $239 for my family, I help provide for them and my siblings and we are definitely not rich. I would call them again, but I after the last time I spoke with them on the phone, I felt very belittled and harassed and do not wish to repeat that. If someone could help me with my refund or tell me when I’ll be receiving it, I would be very much grateful.
If I could give them 0 star I would they take Advantage of people by lying to them saying that they will get rid of their debt with programs and they don’t all the do is out your loans on hold and charge you monthly , When you contact your “advisor” They never answer and you can never get a hold of them. They are a SCAM! Adding on to what I said , no you won’t find me because no it wasn’t me you scammed money from it was my wife ! So you stole from the both of us over 1,000 in money . Not another company . And I’m obviously not going to put her name because I’m speak to our bank about fraud to report you guys ! Not another company YOU GUYS so if you want to get your loans forgiven speak to the department of education not these con artist
They are definitely a scam. After initial payment you will be billed again randomly and they changed their numbers after or have you blocked on caller ID don’t fall for it, it’s an expensive mistake. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of recent college graduates trying to make ends meet during their transition to independence.
Documents Done Right is amazing. They have done my documents for several years to help my with my student loan paperwork for the government programs. They do a great job each year and I am so glad I had them help me. I had been denied before and I couldn't figure out why. They had been doing a great job. I am so happy. I would not have my paperowrk done by anyone else. Great service and I am so happy. Thanks.
This company left a message telling me they could help with my student loan. The DOE was mentioned, which is illegal because they are not associated with this comp. When I called back the man who answered had a very heavy accent. When I asked where he was located he hung up. This is a scam and they have no information on as they state in their message, I know this because I never went to college or have a student loan. Don't fall for their lies.
I Highly Recommend this company for document Preparation regarding your school loans they are very Thorough. Joseph one of the Specialist s there he is very Informative. This company can assist to get you out of forbearance, deferment, and stop your monies from garnishment tax time or payday time. My credit score rocketed, regarding my six open forbearance accounts on transunion and experian accounts. I Highly recommend letting this company prepare your paperwork regarding school loans. These are programs that we are entitled to.
I have been paying $199/month for 6 months on my husband's loan. All of a sudden they stopped charging us with no contact. We tried to call them several times but we just get put on hold then hung up on. We have paid $1200 and haven't been able to get a hold of anyone for over a month now.
I noticed the company based off the local news, so I called in to see what they can help me with. They were very positive and helped me understand my current situation, they spent at least an hour on the phone with me. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has questions or concerns in regards to student loans ! Thanks
Please do your research. The Department of Education does not have Third Parties like this entity claims to be. When they asked my login and password info for my current lender red flags shot up! I ended the call when my baby woke up and I am glad I did, so to not give anymore personal info. I did some research and this entity is a classic SCAM. Save yourself the scam and talk to the StudentLoans.gov associates.
