I’m very sincere when I say this is the best grooming place I’ve ever been to. Our Samoyed has gone to a few groomers and always comes back stressed and overwhelmed. She was totally happy and content after coming back from her appointment with Julie. Not only that, her hair cut was INCREDIBLE! With Samoyeds, their hind leg’s can turn into poopy pantaloons pretty quickly but Julie cut the hair so our dog still has the fuzzy fullness without us having to worry about it getting gross. The overall vibes of the shop are immaculate. All the employees were really friendly and you could tell they genuinely care about the animals they work with. I’ve had multiple dogs, lived in multiple states and have seen multiple groomers. Alpha Dogs is by far the best out of all of them.

My dog is a little skittish, but Kaylee was able to handle her without any issues. I’ve been going there for about 5 years. I like how they do the grooming out front so you can see what’s going on. They are all so kind and you can see how they genuinely love the dogs. They also have the dogs looking so beautiful when they’re finished. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer.

I've brought my now 15-yo dog to Alpha Dogs for grooming for almost two years and they're hands-down one of the best groomers we've ever been to. The desk staff is always super kind, in person and on the phone. The groomers never miss spots that other places have been prone to. I never used to plan ahead to ensure appointments at a certain business and now I do. Truly the best in the biz.

I will give this place a one star since I can't give it a 0. I came across this place on the internet and decided to give it a try because I had heard so many awful things from Petco and PetSmart when It comes to grooming. My puppy was groomed about 6 times in a total of 8 months. The last 3 times I had to call and ask for later appointments because they would schedule my pup early in the morning 8:30-9AM and keep him all day until 6PM Mind you they would still do horrible job, but I never complained. There were times where I had to call and check to see when they would finish with my puppy because they would take all day and I would be without eating or drinking all day. I am going on vacation, and they didn't have any soon appointments, so I schedule a visit for May 23, 2024, waited 3 weeks but it didn't matter because on May9, 2024 I took him to Petco in Higham Mass and they did an amazing job in just 2 hours. I was able to shop and grab a bite while I waited. The problem is that I have a Shi-tzu-yorkie and his hair grows pretty quickly going away to at the end of the month meant he would have to get a touch up before our departure. I usually pay $80.00 for him to get groomed and was charged $70.00 to just clean him up! NOT a problem I happily paid the $70.00 and included a nice tip. This time my dog was ready in 3 hours even though I was told that it would be 4-5 hrs. It should have known that something was wrong when my dog had pink eyes and that is NOT how I dropped him off but I did not ask about it because I assumed he got shampoo in his eyes by mistake. That was not the case! while grooming him they injured my dog to the point that his right eye turned red and the corners of his eye was swollen. I called the next morning and spoke to the receptionist which by the way is RUDE and clearly a HATER she stated that the person who groomed my dog had called out that he did not leave any notes other than finding a tick inside his right ear. MY DOG HAS NEVER HAD A TICK and that the owner was not there but to take pictures of my dogs eye and email the pics which I immediately did. I rushed to my dog to see if he in fact did have a tick in his ear and he did! They never removed the tick and sent my dog off and failed to give me this information when I picked him up. it has been days and I have not heard from anyone to explain the damaged that they caused to my little guy. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT PEOPLE THERE LACK MORALS AND VALUES AND THEY DON"T GIVE 2 flies about your pet THEY ARE ONLY THERE FOR THE $. This place is TRASH starting from the receptionist down to the owner who never even called me to follow up with the situation. ALPHA DOGS SHOULD be CLOSED! you guys are disgusting. The receptionist hates it when dogs bark rolling her eyes and looking back at the dogs with a mean face. If you love your pet DO NOT take them there.

So I usually never write reviews but because I love my dog just as much as YOU love YOUR dog, I strongly suggest that you don’t go to this place to get your dog groomed. I’ve been to Alpha Dogs at least 4 times trying to be optimistic about each visit with my puppy and every time he’s left there with a ton of scratches on his body. The side of his right eye, his armpits, his groin area, his private area… it seems as if the groomers just don’t care for the dogs that goes in there. If you truly love and care about your dog you will not bring them to this horrible place. Not only do they mistreat the dogs, but they’re also very rude and unprofessional. After they gave my dog a terrible haircut shaved his whole face and left him bald they made jokes about it when I went to pick him up. I left a before and after picture for reference to my review… Truly disappointed with my service at this place… NEVER again.

I brought my 2 year old GSD to Alpha today and they were incredible!! The staff was warm and friendly, made my guy feel comfortable and I could tell they truly cared about his comfort and mine! Igor can be a bit skittish around other dogs but had a wonderful morning with the crew. They even commended his breeding and told me he was nothing but polite and friendly. He is a new dog, the de-shed got his undercoat under control and now I have a shiny new pup. Also love that he was completely dry when I picked him up, other groomers have left him damp and that causes matting and more shedding. We will be back!

I called to get a price on grooming for my 10 lb yorkie. I was told $80 for grooming but that can change depending on the behavior of my dog. The price I thought was way too high for such a small dog. $50-60 is reasonable.

Excellent- they're good with my dog I have no problem dropping off my dog there, great staff cool peoples, the front desk girl is awesome, Julie the groomer does a great GREAT job, thank you !!! My doodle comes out fresh and so clean, looking very nice , with a bandanalove it! . Check them out.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Alpha dog! My super anxious pup, Stan is somehow able to relax with the friendly and warm team of groomers. He always comes home looking refreshed and knot free! I sometimes call to check on him mid appointment and they’re always happy to give an update on how he’s doing. Special shout out to Alex who always gives Stan some extra attention and makes him feel extra comfortable during the process.

I Went In For The Essentials with my pup the first time...hair. eyes. paws..... The Staff are fun, full of love and supportive energy. Lets me know my dog wasnt a price tag, further more my 2nd visit was even better. my pup got a full groom and im beyond pleased with staff, service and environment. Alphadogsforlife##
