I have nothing but good things to say about Kelly and her canine knowledge and training methods. Her "How to Speak Doggish" seminar is excellent, take it if you can. A little over 2 years ago Kelly helped evaluate a very shy rescue dog I had adopted and made many suggestions so that my dog felt more comfortable in her new environment. I still occasionally get in touch with her if I have a question and she is so good about getting back with me. I highly recommend Kelly and her services.

We brought our Mastiff/St. Bernard Odin to Kelly when we got him as a puppy and we had quite a few concerns. She was so helpful! I was concerned about leash walking especially and I am proud to say that I can walk my 140lb dog with no problem thanks to Kelly. Her positive reinforcement teaching works so well. We took her puppy classes and anytime we had a question outside of class (or in class), she was great about giving us advice and helping us :) Her classes are small so you really get that one on one time and we had a blast! I would recommend her to everyone as she does an amazing job!

Kelly saved our family! When Pink came to us, she was coo-coo-crazy-pants with anxiety. I was unprepared for how to deal with a dog that had so much anxiety she couldn't focus. Two classes and a private visit later and I was able to form a bond of trust with Pink that served her well and helped everyone in the family adjust to a new member. Though we could use Kelly full-time, she is always available for consults. Additionally, Kelly's pig Mu has made several guest appearances at the library where I work, which has been SUPER fun! Kelly's positive, reassuring, calm approach to dog training was a life and dog saver!

I first met Kelly around 3 years ago when I was looking for a behaviorist to help my mom with her extremely fearful and dog aggressive Airedale. Kelly's knowledge, patience, understanding, commitment, and communication with both the dog and my mom was impressive right from the start, and her love for her job and desire to help was obvious. Together Kelly has helped my mom and her dog make huge strides towards a better, more relaxed and happier existence. They were in a bad place when they first met Kelly as the dog was basically housebound because she could not cope with even seeing another dog, and my mom was very frustrated and disheartened. However my mom never felt judged, and always felt supported by Kelly, and today Bailie not only just tolerates other dogs, but has learned to use communication signals and even has a few doggy friends!
Over the years I've come to know Kelly personally and am always impressed by her love for, and commitment to, her job. As a veterinarian, I routinely see dogs with behavior issues, and encounter challenging behavior situations. Kelly is the first person I recommend when my clients ask for help, and she's the first person I call when I want to further my understanding of behavior or have questions. She's an invaluable resource for me.
I highly recommend Kelly and am certain that she will not only help you train your dog, but will improve your relationship with your dog by teaching you both to improve your understanding and communication, and to work as team.

We took a couple classes and got some one on one help from Kelly. She's a genius! Our dog Timber is such a good boy, and we learned so much! From learning the basics to working with the difficult behavior issues, Doggonit Training gets our vote! She's very dedicated to her job and it shows in her classes and training.
