One of the most important pieces of my dream wedding was having our dogs in the ceremony. We love our dogs more than anything else and it would have been wrong without them there. I found Doggy Social's website TREMENDOUSLY helpful for planning on having our dogs in the wedding. Even if we hadn't gone through with working with DS, the site was wonderful. They have known dog-friendly venues listed and things to consider and more. I knew immediately I wanted to use DS for our wedding and I'm SO glad I did. I did not worry about our most important family members for a single second. The planning process was clear and easy, the pricing was reasonable in my opinion, and our attendants were incredible. The communication we got on our wedding day was fantastic. When I was pulled in 800 directions as the bride, I still knew our dogs were safe and cared for and would be absolutely fine until we got home- and they were. Our attendants were on time and very prepared. They helped with photos, made sure the dogs had breaks and even helped our nieces the non-canine flower girl & ring bearer practice walking down the aisle with the dogs while we were taking photos. I didn't think to do this step and my 4 year old niece told me the next day how glad she was she could practice so she could do a good job. Until she told me that, I didn't even know they had taken the time to do that. I was blown away by that attention paid that no one asked them to do. Our pictures were amazing, dogs were "dressed" and happy, and I got a photo of their snoozy faces after they got back home. Couldn't be happier with Doggy Social or with myself for making such a great choice!
My husband and I are beyond thankful to have had Doggy Social there to take care of our two dogs and have them be part of our special day. Laura and Annamarie took great care of them. They provided us with updates, helping us feel reassured and knowing our dogs were in great hands. Our pups had so much fun and were so happy to be there and celebrate our day with us. Thanks to Doggy Social, we have amazing pictures and special memories with our dogs that we’ll hold onto forever.
From the moment we started wedding planning, we KNEW we wanted our two dogs Prince & Pluto to be involved somehow. We were so happy when we found Doggy Social Wedding, because they offer services that allow for this without the hassle of us dealing with the dogs on such a busy day. Doggy Social and their dog handlers exceeded our expectations in every way and truly made our wedding day unforgettable. We received Maddie & Shannon as our wedding day pup attendants & they were both incredible. From the moment they met our dogs at our house visit, we could tell that they truly loved dogs and cared about them. We had complete trust in them to take care of our babies. Maddie & Shannon were also incredible on our wedding day! They helped get our dogs down the aisle when they were being naughty & they did a fantastic job dealing with our rambunctious and hyper dogs. They also listened intently to instructions and took the dogs out of the ceremony at the correct time. They even took pictures & sent to update us which was an awesome extra touch. We are so grateful to have worked with Doggy Social & couldn’t recommend them enough to any family who wants to add their best friends to their big day without all the extra hassle. Highly recommend doggy social for your wedding day, they made the planning process very easy. I knew Oliver was well taken care of thanks to Lara. We wouldn’t have been able to have our pup at the wedding without her!!
Loved having doggy social at our wedding to take care of our dogs! They did such a great job taking care of our fur babies. I didn't have to worry about the dogs all day/night. One of our dogs has a lot of orthopedic issues and when we got to her the next morning she wasn't limping at all and we didn't see her limping at all when we got to catch up with them here an there during the day so I know they were making sure she didn't out due herself which we really appreciate! And they brought them home for us and sent me pictures letting me know they got home safe which I'm sure everyone with a dog knows how much that means. Thank you again to doggy social they did such a great job and it was worth every penny!
I can’t say enough good things about this vendor. Doggy social is absolutely amazing. We have two big dogs and two cats and Rachel and Annamarie went above and beyond to make sure they were all well taken care of. They came over to the house the week before our wedding to meet all of the pets and we knew they were in great hands. They were super professional, the communication was great and we knew we could trust them with our “babies” we were so relieved we wouldn’t have to worry about the pets on the day of our wedding. They brought both of the dogs to the venue and did such a great job handling our 100 pound overly excited German Shepherd and catered to our senior girls special needs. I was originally worried as our shepherd is very high energy and is by no means an easy dog when she is excited, but doggy social was not fazed in the slightest, they did an amazing job with her! It was so great to get updates from them throughout the day and see all the great photos they took. Thank you Doggy Social for taking such great care of our pets, highly recommend!
I would hire Doggy Social over and over and over again!! We knew from the very beginning of wedding planning that our dog, Duncan, had to be at our wedding. When we found Doggy Social we just knew it was the perfect fit. I spoke with Lara on the phone first and you can just tell she loves her job! She was kind, professional, and so passionate about making sure Duncan would be safe and happy on wedding day. Our pet attendant, Shannon, completely blew our expectations out of the water. She cared for Duncan like he was her own. I cannot even tell you how at ease it feels knowing your pup is in good hands on such a big day. We had so many people come up to us and compliment us on her and for good reason!!
We had Lara from Doggy Social at our wedding in Jan,2024 and I could not be happier with the decision. Lara was wonderful to communicate with and very thorough in the meetings leading up to the wedding. A month prior to the wedding, Lara made a house visit so Bailey could meet her which could not have gone better. Bailey who can be timid around new people just laid on the ground asking for belly rubs. The day of the wedding was so smooth with Lara attending to Bailey and ensuring she was cared for- it was truly a blessing to not have to worry about her. The best part was knowing Bailey was taken home after the wedding where her nightly routine was completed and then tucked into bed before Lara left. If you are interested in having your "furry" family member at your wedding, doggy social is the best investment to make sure it goes well.
Full disclosure - I currently work for Doggy Social as a Pet Attendant - but I actually found out about Doggy Social while I was looking for my own wedding! I have three pups who each have their own unique quirks/backgrounds and one has significant anxiety, so I am pretty particular about who cares for them. Lara and her team are fantastic. They all truly love and care for all animals, and minimized all my worries on my wedding day! I wasn't sure if I was going to have my pups be a part of the big day, but Doggy Social made it possible and I'm so, so glad! Lara and Shannon took the time to get to know my pups and were super attentive to their needs. All three got to be a part of the ceremony and take some photos beforehand, and it wouldn't have been the same without them there! Thank you so much!!! <3
Lara and the Doggy Social team are AMAZING; you must book them NOW! I have two high-energy herding dogs, Benny and Jeter, and I am one of those dog moms with extremely high expectations over how they are cared for - they only ever go to "grandma's" house even the mention of "grandma" gets one of my dogs to head tilt 90 degrees. When we started planning for our wedding, the anxiety set in over who was going to care for our two boys the day of the festivities. We were going to be away from home for 15 hours and all of of our normal "go-tos" aka, grandma were going to be partaking in the wedding festivities with us - so who was going to watch our babies? I came across Doggy Social from the Urban Daisy our wedding venue website of "unique vendors" and from the first correspondence, everything was pawsome as Lara would say. Maybe I'm overprotective, but I think our boys require special care given their herding tendencies - I wanted to be sure that whoever watched them understood their intensity, slight obsessions with people/toys/food, jumping, and sometimes legit herding. I wanted our boys to not only be cared for, but a part of our special day, and then tucked in for bed at night. Doggy Social went above and beyond in all of these! Lara and Annamarie picked our boys up from our house and brought them to our wedding venue where they let them sniff around to get comfortable with the venue before our “furst look”. With the photographer and videographers ready to go, they unleashed the boys and let them run to us - it was the most magical moment watching them mad dash towards my husband and I. They used treats and squeaker toys to help them pose for photos and took them outside for walks and potty during downtime. Then it was ready for the big event. After I the bride finished walking down the aisle, it was the boys turn. Lara and Annamarie let them loose once again as they ran towards us down the aisle and stood by our sides the entire ceremony with Lara and Annamarie close by in case they got too fidgety. They were able to hang out with a bit more during cocktail before Lara took them back to our house for some more play, dinner, and snuggles. Lara made sure they were all tucked in for bed before heading out for the evening and even gave our kitty some love! Like I mentioned, I have very high expectations over how my dogs are cared for. Anytime I saw Lara and Annamarie interacting with them I was blown away. They were so gentle and were able to guide them through a fairly chaotic day with lots of people moving about. Our wedding was a few weeks ago and we still get people commenting about how the dogs running down the aisle was of their favorite parts of our wedding. We’ve gotten some sneak peek photos back and I am absolutely in love with the ones of our pups. I know they won’t be around forever, but I will be forever grateful they were a part of our big day in such an amazing way, all thanks to Doggy Social. Thank you!
