This Dominos has officially lost a customer. The past two times we've ordered delivery from this location, the pizza has taken much longer than the estimated times and has been sitting waiting in the "Quality Check" stage for at least a half hour. I get that you're hindered by the delivery drivers available, but my pizza should NOT be sitting for 30 minutes before it leaves the store. If that's going on, your estimated times need to be extended and you need to hold off on making the pizzas until the driver is closer to being available. Additionally! I tried to call the location to find out what was going on and was NEVER able to get through. "Press 3 if you've already placed an order and need to speak to a team member", *Presses 3*, "This option is not valid". As I type this it has been 60+ minutes on my estimated 28-38 wait time, I can only hope my pizza is still warm when it does finally get it.
There is a glitch in the system sending the order to a further location and I have been called saying they were unable to deliver. We have had to call in and have it changed one other time over the phone, but this time I called the Waxhaw location and stating that and overheard a guy in the background yell why don’t they just drive here since they are so close. So uncalled for! So many people here complain of the service but I had never experienced it until tonight. I won’t be giving my money to this place until they have a better crew serving the public. Very disappointed!
My family loves Pizza, and we've tried just about everywhere locally and there are a lot of great options, but we are at a strong consensus the very best Pizza in town is from Dominos - specifically the Waxhaw location. That is a well run Pizza shop with hard workers that seem to hustle non-stop - and we appreciate it.
Just moved here and have tried ordering on the app twice to no avail. Never had an issue before. The first time, I called in super nice folks and got the same order at the same price so only a little extra trouble but without the app rewards. The second time, I called in again super nice again with the same order but got a different price, $24 on the app for 3 medium cheese @$6, pep@6, deluxe@9 vs call in for $37. 54% price difference and won't budge means we're trying out Papa John's tonight. Update: responded to the request to email from Kyle and haven't heard back in 10 days, dropping rating from 3 to 1. Update 2: Never heard back from Kyle but gave them more chances since then and haven't had any issues with food or service quality. Have had some issues with timing but nothing too crazy. Between that and being ghosted originally, I think the body of work can get moved to a 4 star.
I order a pizza around 12pm and now it is 2pm. I waited two hours and I been told one of the manager that one of his delivery driver is already out since he/she got two or more delivery. I expected they were fast n get here on time. How do i know this? I was a former employee until my parents force me to quit since they give me “one freebie” to work there to if I like it or not but they don’t want me do delivery. I also look at the tracker n that tracker need to do some fixing or updating.
Spent 70 dollars to have dinner delivered for my grandkids. Wouldn't have minded the exceedingly long 2 hours wait time if everything had arrived fine. 5 of our 8 items were burnt and/or incorrect. Called the manager who assured me "everything is cooked on the same 7 minute conveyor belt" so clearly I didn't know what I was looking at or I was lying. One of our pizza's didn't even have cheese on it. After a long and ultimately annoying conversation I was offered a "20 dollar credit towards a future order". How thoughtful Now it's bedtime and everyone is still annoyed and hungry because apparently "quality check" means stuffed in a box without a second thought if anything was actually done right. Real great work dominos.
Perfect service, hot pizza. The time from order to pickup under 8 minutes, highly recommend!
Ordered Philly cheesesteak for carry out. Fast and pizza was good. Will be ordering again.
Ordered online, was provided an estimate of 36-45 minutes for my order to be ready app says “Thomas” began preparing my order at 6:14 PM EST. Arrived at the store at 6:50 PM EST to find out my order hadn’t even been started yet, and that it would be at least another 20 minutes. This happens every single time at this store at least 5-6 times in the last few months and I’m done with it. No one can plan family meals around such inconsistency, and it’s ridiculous that I can’t even get 2 medium pizzas in less than an hour and a half. It’s absolutely absurd. We’ll be ordering from papa John’s or Pizza Hut from now on.
Still trying to find a pizza place that has an accurate tracker. Dominos says 14 - 24 minutes. So show up after 20 minutes and it’s still 20 minutes. I really don’t care it takes longer when they’re busy. Just tell me it’s 45 minutes and set the right expectations. Seems reasonable to me?
