This is a wonderful place for dinner! I ordered their special, Arroz con Pollos, and it was absolutely delicious! My party also spoke well of the Cevichè and Fajitas. Our server was very polite and helpful, pricer were reasonable and we were served quickly. The portions are definitely enough to share! I wish I lived closer to this restaurant! I would come here every week
Wonderful food, attentive service, delightful atmosphere. I came for dinner while traveling for business. Christian was a wonderful server -helped me select the ceviche mixte, small portion, chopped up fish, shrimp, octopus to go with my skinny margarita. It was delicious and I had plenty to take home too! But not before a taste of the Sopaipilla with strawberry sauce and fluffy whipped cream. Oh and the fun but not too loud music had me transported too. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food and service. Haven't had a bad meal. When we can't agree on food we always end up here....Never disappointed
Great service and delicious food! Very authentic Mexican food in traditional environment. Wishing them all the very best!
My friends and I came here to eat last night and I was not pleased with the food or the level of service. To start, when our server brought us our salsa which is very watery by the way, she neglected to bring chips or saucers. When it was time to order she was being combative with questions that were being asked regarding the menu. If I come to a Mexican restaurant and order tacos, I expect the tacos to come with onion and cilantro — like a traditional Mexican taco, but here they serve them “American Style” — cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It doesn’t specify this on the menu and if you order a combination plate, you “have” to get your taco American style. Refried beans are served with shredded yellow cheese vs the white cheese sauce. Rice tastes like it’s days old/reheated. You get a free dessert at the end of your meal which is a cinnamon sugar tortilla chip with whipped cream and strawberry drizzle. When our server brought the dessert she neglected to bring saucers again, and when we asked, the ones she did bring out had not been properly washed. There was obvious food still on the saucers so they couldn’t even be used. Service and food disappointed. No authenticity. Will not be returning.
Charged three times for the same meal then hung up on me. We've been going to the same location for years and never complained about anything. After dining there for an early Valentine's dinner, I went home and noticed 3 charges for the same amount for our meal. Seeing as the charges were still pending it was a Sunday I didn't think anything of it. A few days later, I noticed that all three amounts posted to my account. Two $56.84 charges plus the cost of our meal $66.84 plus a $10 tip. I figured it was an honest mistake so I called the restaurant. After explaining my situation... I got hung up on. Once again, thinking it was a accident, I called back and spoke to what sounded like the same person. They put me on hold and put someone else on. I once again explained the situation and was told that they had no proof that I didn't eat there three times... HUH? They asked me what the server's name was but on the receipt there is just a "server number". They didn't know what number that is even though it's on their own receipt. They demanded that I physically come into the restaurant with a months worth of bank statements and the receipt for them look at. Wait... A MONTH WORTH OF BANK STATEMENTS?!?! Did I hear that right? When I asked why I needed a months worth of bank receipts for a transaction that happened 3 days ago, they hung up on me again. Oh well, I guess I'll have to be a total a** about it and just go to my credit card company. Seems like a mistake that could easily be resolved but they decided to make it difficult for some reason.
Is this a ultra high end Mexican restaurant? No, but if you’re looking for table side guacamole, novelty margaritas and large portions of Americanized Aztec inspired food than this is a place for you. Think of a fun place to celebrate a birthday. Apparently they also have karaoke and Mexican dancing special events too. Staff very good and friendly and attentive. Nice separate bar too. I’ll probably be back when I get a craving since their menu is FULL of items. Almost too many.
A friend's cousin recommended this place is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants. We drove from Rock Hill to eat here and it was definitely worth it! The menu is huge, portions are crazy big and everything tasted wonderful. Hands down some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I will definitely be back!
So disappointed in this place. Used to be good. I called to make an order for my wife to pickup on her way home, they messed it up and gave the wrong meat, not a big deal, but it’s like the fourth time in the last six orders where it’s been wrong. Foods good, got hung up on someone who took the order, put it in wrong, and then lied when I said my wife has a beef allergen don’t cook it near any beef. There’s literally a hundred places that are comparable and better in a thirty mile radius don’t waste your time. Is this Gama? Because I was ready to delete this review but my wife just went to pick up the corrected food order but was told something completely differently by the manager that said no one of the male employees would own up to being on the phone to me how would anyone know if I was rude or not? Also, wife returned the beef food, and every time I order I say, “All chicken no beef my wife has a beef allergy.” After five years I’m going to change how I order? I sincerely doubt this.
This place touched parts of my appetite. I was not prepared to explore. The food was amazing and was an emotional experience of tastiness. The food tastes like hope and freedom. Our server Victor was amazing and through our interactions with him we had a culinary awakening. We were treated awesome and felt very welcomed. The portions exceeded our expectations and now me and my girlfriend have gotten a deeper bond because of this experience. Thanks you guys for everything. Michael.
