Outstanding food and service, like being transported to Japan. High quality fresh ingredients cooked meticulously and masterfully as one would expect from authentic Japanese. A neighborhood hidden gem. Will be back again soon.

A small cozy gem on the UES for Japanese cuisine. Service is great and food is super flavorful. Assorted sashimi from the chef was incredible but my favorite was the baked cod - super soft and all round delicious. They have special set tasting menus, but you need to book a day in advance.

Uni and salmon roe donburi bowl was delicious. Quiet and intimate dining area with few seats, best for small groups.

The daily special sashimi here is fantastic. It is noticeably fresh fish, which is always a big plus for sushi and sashimi. The environment is perfect for a smaller Japanese restaurant. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good dinner.

Fish liver for appetizer was good, but chefs choice sashimi is so pricy. I was asking how many pieces will be before ordering, but it came 3 pieces less than I was being told. Paid too much for this.

Great food quality but pricey for the portion.
