Donut Connection

You wouldn't even know it's here unless you looked hard. This little place is tucked into a tiny strip of shops off St James Ave, next to Alex's restaurant, in Goose Creek. It's a quaint family owned business and everyone is super sweet. They have the largest and tastiest Apple fritters I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Tired of Dunkin donuts? Then you need to try this place that my kid calls "the connection of donuts".

Exceptional customer service! Great tasting donuts. You can also purchase breakfast sandwiches and a variety of coffee drinks.

I enjoy this hidden local delicacy when I can get it. They have limited hours (they close at 2PM, or whenever they run out of donuts--whichever comes first), which makes sense. The menu is always changing, so it's best to keep up with them on social media to know if they'll have flavors that appeal to you before making the trek to the store that day. The only problem they have is being a victim of hype. You can only tell someone the donuts are the best ever for so long before they cave in and go, only to be disappointed because they expected a life-changing event instead of just a really good donut. The staff is always friendly. The donuts are pretty massive, and the price is on point. If they happen to have the Banana Pudding donut, that's about the closest to a life-changing event.

Great donuts, yummy breakfast sandwiches! Coffee could be much better... table cloths and backs of chairs sticky... otherwise a great local stop for yummy treats
