Being that I’m Mexican and from South Texas I take my Mexican food seriously. My coworker introduced me to this truck today and I got to say it’s my top spot so far for anything Mexican food in Omaha. I had a burrito and tacos and they were incredibly delicious. It was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth and they gave me an incredible feeling of home. The food was fresh and everything was made to order. Truck was incredibly organized and clean. The staff was very friendly and worked very fast to get us our food. They have a little bit of everything as well as drinks and chips. Once we received our food we just went to the back of my truck and we pop the tailgate open and we started munching away. I’m glad we got there a little early because seconds later after we started eating the parking lot pretty much filled up with customers. But I got to say they moved incredibly fast to get orders out. So don’t be intimidated if there’s a crowd around the truck they work really fast. If you see their food truck don’t think twice I recommend the Asada burrito.
I see this truck all the time and they had what I needed! I will fight someone for these tacos! Grilled, tender, juicy, flavorful chicken tacos! Not the boiled lazy mess a lot of places serve. If you like a little spice, go with the green sauce, if you want to go to hell, get the red sauce! I love them both! The tacos were nice and hot, not a super long wait but I’d gladly wait an hour for these. I ate 4 in my car and went back to get 3 more to go because I’m in love. I should’ve stopped after I ate the first 2 but the flavor was so good! No restaurant or taco truck over south got anything on them. There’s a lot of people standing on the corner for a reason. If they had business cards, I’d gladly hand them out for a lifetime supply of tacos.
this is the best food truck in Omaha, i ask for quesadillas asadas all the time and they make it the way i want it man. I tried other restaurants and nothing like this truck man, i just wished they accept Cards but still not gonna argue the quality of the food, Always good, I 100% recommend itFood: 5/5
The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the food is always amazing! I highly recommend. Remember to bring cash though because that is the only form of payment accepted. Also they are open till two or three in the morning. Worth trying out and great to help one sober up after a long night of drinking!Food: 5/5
Ah….gone are the days when this place was the best. Dos de Oros is one of the original taco trucks in Omaha—and I’m almost certain it’s the one that’s remained open the longest. Cash only, as all good taco joints tend to be, but I find their carne asada lackluster in flavor and undercooked half the time…it’s like they steam the meat instead of grill it...that’s just not how this style of tacos is supposed to work. The place is always packed and it makes me happy to see the business prosper, but for a long time it’s become the one place I only go to if it’s my second option. Not because it’s not good, but because it’s not what it used to be. Having said that, you can’t beat the experience of ordering, hanging out while your food is ready, and eating in the back of your truck with your friends on a Thursday night at 1:00 AM with your friends. You’ll get pretty fast service and the employees are always in a good mood.
My my favorite place to get steak burritos, they are so good there. And even though I don't speak Spanish, the help there is very kind to me, cuz I can't speak a lick. They're just great people.
Best street tacos! My husband sometimes drives down from Elkhorn when he’s craving them. He always gets the Al Pastor tacos with pineapple. I love their tostadas with green salsa and lime
Really good food for a good price. I ordered an off menu item due to some temporary diet restrictions and the taquero went above and beyond to make my food delicious and as authentic as possible ad he could. Highly recommended this truck any time of day although late nights are busy. It's worth the wait.
Love, love LOVE! Great burritos and tacos. Always amazing service.Food: 5/5
Stopped on our way home to Lincoln today and was 100% worth the stop. It's amazing how fresh the food was and the flavors were awesome. I missed supper tonight because the portion was just that big. Will definitely be stopping by again next time we are in Omaha.
