Vibe was fun, cocktails were interesting and really good for the most part. Our party of 4 did several small plates and then shared two entrees. The food was all good but nothing really blew us away. It's a fun spot, and I would come back for drinks with friends, but I wouldn't come for dinner again.
Food was superb. The ability to modify menu items vegan was extremely appreciated. Beautifully designed. A little hard to see the menu with low lighting, but we managed. Total vibe!
Upscale well hidden speakeasy behind a garden center featuring comfortable tables, booths, and an incredible bar with knowledgeable staff and bartenders. Expert mixologists passionate about ingredients make exquisite cocktails unlikely to be found at most places. Jenna was especially well informed about base spirits, amari, mixers, and more and was able to create unique experiences in addition to the well designed standard menu. Went for a private event and food was outstanding. Will come again!
My favorite speakeasy in Charlotte...the drinks and food are amazing. They also have food and cocktail themed tasting that are quite the experience. This place is great for a dinner date or a after work cocktail.
Had a great experience at Dot Dot Dot in Charlotte NC. The ambiance was really great. The bar looked fun- I’ll try and sit there next time. The drinks were fantastic. I had a dirty martini and a mezcal drink- both were delicious. Will def try the food next time. The service was amazing as well!
The atmosphere and charm of this small speakeasy makes me add Dot Dot Dot to one of my top 5 spots Charlotte. The staff was extremely personable and genuine and never got tired of chatting and answering my questions. The food was exquisite and I'm excited to see what the chef comes up with in the Fall.
The drinks were really good here. My best friend got the pork belly which she really enjoyed and I got the pumpkin spice crème brûlée that tasted good but not fresh. I would come back here for drinks and maybe try a meal.
It’s not so much a speakeasy as a bar with a required membership. The food was ridiculously overpriced. We paid $16 for a “tapas” style plate of gnocchi. While tasting perfectly fine, it was six gnocchi. I think they fell into the Charlotte trend of saying they have tapas style food in order to get away with serving less for more. However, the cocktails were delicious. They ranged around $15 for house specialities. The bar would have been perfect for date night in its ambience.
You can't go wrong coming here. It's a wonderful atmosphere, our server was extremely knowledgeable and had great suggestions if you are on the fence about your drink of choice. 10/10.
So worth the two trips around the plaza it took to find this place! FYI it’s on the backside of the shops near the loading dock for the hardware store. If you’re expecting to find the name of this restaurant in neon lights, think again. In true speakeasy fashion, you’ll only find a symbol to indicate the entrance. The door person will be there to great you. It’s members only so you’ll need to join to enter. Once you’re inside, it has the intimate, dimly lit vibe of a traditional speakeasy. The cocktails all looked very interesting. I enjoyed the Secret Garden. It was not only beautiful but delicious. We tried the gnocchi, seared scallops, fried chicken and tuna. It was all perfectly plated and prepared. You absolutely must visit this place at least once if you’re looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.
