10/10 best experience for first timers. My partner and I came from Australia and wanted to check the place out. All the staff were so helpful especially Burgess, I went back for the second time and he walked me through everything again with a lot of grace and patience, he gave me great tips and recommendations, really took his time making sure that I was really ready to go into the shooting range by myself for the second time I came back, he was also just such a great guy to have a conversation with. Highly recommend anyone go there if it’s your first time, they look after you.
I bought an M&P 15 from Doug's a few years ago and when I was looking for a pistol that's easier to conceal than my M&P 40, Doug's was my first choice. I bought a Springfield Hellcat there today. The staff is awesome. They mounted the red-dot sight for me and since I've never shot a pistol with an optic before they walked me through how to use it. These guys are knowledgeable and so friendly. I'd recommend them in a second.
Great experience. Me and two buddies showed up with little to no experience with shooting. They showed us all the guns we wanted to shoot with. Very good instructions, lot of fun and very affordable prices. The gentlemen running the shop are also very friendly. And as a bonus, the whole experience was much cheaper than some tourist traps we saw in Utah or Arizona. We paid about 200 dollars rental and ammo included for 3 people and two hours of fun. Highly recommend, would come back.
Very, very good experience for us trying out some guns at the gun range. Coming from abroad we had literally zero experience with any kind of firearm. The staff were very patient with us, explained everything carefully and answered all our questions. We don't remember all names - Aaron, Dave, and the other two employees we interacted with were all equally patient and welcoming. Easy five star recommendation.
Burgess and Aaron created one heck of time for us non-American gun deficient people. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Great pricing, 10/10 will be back again
My family and I are visiting from Houston and Aaron gave us more than a 5-star experience! He is very knowledgeable and even took the time to explain the AR we shot to my dad in Spanish. The range is clean and well kept as well.
We had an amazing experience at Doug's Shoot'n Sports! As first-time shooters, we were nervous, but Charlotte, the owner's beautiful daughter, was an excellent teacher and guide. She patient and knowledgeable. The family-owned business's hospitality was top-notch. Charlotte and her dad, Dave, treated us in the best way, even letting us stay past closing time. The range and shop were well-maintained, clean, and organized, with very good prices. We left with an ear-to-ear smile, eager to return. If you're a beginner or seasoned shooter, Doug's Shoot'n Sports is a must-visit - 120% recommended! Thank you, Charlotte and Dave, for an unforgettable experience!
They were really friendly, and the owner Dave and his daughter Charlotte stayed open just for us even though it was a hollyday, because we were leaving that same day, we were a group that had never used any guns and Charlotte taught us everything we needed to know with patience. The priceing was perfect I totally recommend the experience Thanks so much
Full confidence in their entire operation. I was in an emergency of sorts to ship a lot of firearms to Alaska for a military move. The tall gentleman and manager were extremely helpful. They walked me through every step, took care of every action in detail. They provided copies of paperwork and answered all of my newbie questions. Very smooth process. Highly recommend for any service. The staff is held to a high standard here.
Doug's Shoot’n Sports provided an excellent experience. We received outstanding service from Aaron, who took the time to explain everything to us in detail. We were even allowed to take photos, and everything was explained with patience and kindness. The price was right too!
