Really delicious pizza cook to order and obviously using really good ingredients. There go is also great which for a place named dough should be the case. Enjoy my lunch and definitely will be back for more they have a really large menu coming out of a very small spot it’s actually kind of amazing.
They say it's all about the dough. I'd argue it's all about their sauce! That sweet pizza sauce paired with the generations of Licastri bread/dough making, unequivocally makes my mouth water for more. Very delicious! Always order dough when friends are over out of state. I will also mention, if there is ever an error or the pizza is cold, the owner of the restaurant has personally delivered my pie. Now that says something. I appreciate it!
Visited the new location for first time on Richmond avenue and I have to say it’s certainly all about the dough which was light and delicious . The sauce deliciously sweet on the square pizza. Calamari tender and there special white sauce to dip the calamari was amazing!! The eggplant Parmigana was also delicious . Macaronis& cheese egg rolls were very fresh and delicious. We topped off the end of the meal with there light and tasty zeppoles and they were great ! All the food was made fresh .. My family loved the vibe of the place and we will Definitley will be back to try more of the food . The wait staff was also very attentive and quick . I would give 10 stars if I could . Thanks for coming to the neighborhood and best of luck to this Gem of a place.. #2Twins Digital Printing & Graphic Designs
We came here the day after New Years as our usual pizza spot was closed. We ordered a large traditional cheese pie for takeout. The pizza was ready in 30 minutes and was hot. The pizza looked okay and smelled yummy. Unfortunately, it was sub-par at best. The pizza sauce was very vinegar and had a sour taste. Each bite of pizza should include a bit of bread, sauce and cheese. That wasn't the case here. It was like they put a bit of cheese on some parts and then sauce on the other. I am not sure why they made the pizza like that especially a traditional cheese pizza. The crust was pretty dry and subpar at the best. I am not sure if this pizza spot is only known for their specialty pies but, their traditional pie is trash.
Ordered twice from this location. Gave half my first order to a coworker who isn't a vegetarian, they liked it so much that they ordered one at my 2nd order. Honestly their portions are generously sized that I can't finish an entire wrap. Love that they are walking distance.
Staten island is now officially home to one of the best pizzerias in the city. The flavor combinations and ingredient quality are absolutely superb. Their topping combinations are impressive as they are creative. As much as I want to continue about their amazing pizza, I must suggest their "egg rolls" and their Calzone. Both are delicious and compliment a pie effortlessly. I wanted to keep this place to myself but I feel the world deserves to know that Staten island has a hidden gem
Made to order fresh food so unheard of with a pizza place but the food is great with flavor and inexpensive considering portion sizes and freshness.
My favorite is the fried calamari with cherry peppers and red sauce it's the best. They put it in a box comes crispy and not greasy. My other favorite is the chicken Buffalo pie it's spicy but delicious. Something different.
Ordered some pizza and pasta after reading positive reviews online. It was terribly disappointing. Food seemed like leftovers, cold and dry. But I could tell they would taste a lot better if they were freshly out of the oven.
This is a small business, I pass by often, so I decided to go in and try a slice of pizza, the gentleman at the register said that they didn't serve slices .when I got back into my car and drove away I pulled over to call and ask about a pie that was just put into the oven. It had a lot of ingredients on it. When the gentleman finally picked up the phone from me being on hold for a couple of minutes. I asked what kind of pie it was, the gentleman replied that he didn't know they make so many pies.when all he had to do was turn his head to the right and ask the pie maker who just put the pie in the oven. I dont recommend this place, based on the attitude of the gentleman at the register. Stay safe.
