Dr allen is very caring and kind . Takes his time to explain things as well . I have seen a few drs for pain management and he is the only one who has listened and made me feel comfortable which is important. He has also helped me manage my health and is always there when i have a question which is very rare. I recommended him to some of my own patients because i am a provider as well and everyone has had the same positive experience. He also has a great team for PT ,acupuncture, and front desk.

I was referred to Dr Allen for severe back pain. I ended up needing disc surgery but I highly recommend him and Allison, his PT. He is knowledgeable and kind. Allison does one on one therapy in a private room. She is great. A small office so perfect during COVID.

Dr. Allen has been my pain management doc for a little over four years and I couldn’t recommend him more. He’s friendly and attentive and has always managed my care professionally. If you want someone who is going to talk to you for two minutes and throw pills at you, he’s not your guy. If you want someone who will actually work with you to help you and get you feeling better, there is no one better.

Dr. Allen has been extremely helpful to me in managing chronic back pain and deciding on treatment options. From my first visit he has helped me to understand the nature of my injury, potential options for treatment, and the pros and cons of each method. It is clear to me that Dr. Allen sees patient education as being of primary importance so that the patient can, along with the doctor, make informed decisions about treatment. His advice and feedback regarding potential treatment is generally conservative, which I appreciate. I would recommend Dr. Allen without hesitation to someone suffering from acute or chronic back or neck pain.

Dr. Allen and his entire staff, including his Physical Therapy team, are tops! I have been with Dr. Allen several years, after knee repair surgery, hip issues, etc. Everyone is caring, genuine and make you feel welcome. I started with Dr Allen and Dom in January after major neck and back pain since the June before. I could barely move. I'm happy to report that I'm at about 70% movement and my pain has been managed. I'm a work in progress, but they make me relax when I have set backs and encourage me that I'm still on the right treatment path. Everyone is so lovely there and polite. I was beyond impressed with my experience at this office. Dr. Douglas Allen and The Physical therapist Aleks Setcha are all I could have hoped for with pain management. I received the best advice and treatment during every visit. Dr. Allen is extremely knowledgeable and positive. My pain has clearly improved with Aleks who is so dedicated and intelligent. I can get around much more than before, changing my life for the better.I am truly grateful for both of them I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone that values their health and wants an empowering experience.

I had an excellent visit with Dr. Allen for my back pain. He's a good doctor who doesn't talk down to you and has empathy for your problem. Plus he loves heavy metal which gives him instant credibility with me! I will continue to see Dr. Allen because he is thoughtful and helped me with my problem.

I was referred to Dr. Allen about two months ago for severe lower back pain. When I went for my consult I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and forthright. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my situation and the treatment options. I really liked how honest he was and him not pushing particular treatments. In the end, we decided on an epidural and the procedure went flawlessly with very little pain. Please note that I had previously received epidurals/shots from supposedly one of the top 10 doctors in the field a couple years ago and it was an extremely painful/awful experience. In fairness, it was performed at a teaching hospital so it was probably one of the interns instead of the Doctor I went there to see. Anyway, I would recommend Dr. Allen and his staff to any friend or family member.
