I have written a review from a “patients perspective” of how choosing the best Dentist up front is more important than how much you initially pay. I had an “All on 4” procedure in 2019 that I wasn’t happy with and couldn’t get it redone because they were out of town as well as I tried for over 11 months to resolve this but then I hired Douglas Benting DDS, MS and Prosthodontist in dentistry and he teaches other dentists at Spear which is an educational institute for practicing dentists and others related to the profession and is on the faculty and has been a Top Phoenix Magazine dentist for around 13-14 years. I sent Dr. Benting’s 6 page $1,500 report to the Dentist who couldn’t or wouldn’t resolve the issue and received a $15,000 offer to settle within 24 hours and a DocuSign email. I then had Dr. Benting remake the upper bridge to the “All on 4” and I now look incredible with a new method of attaching the teeth so that if one tooth gets damaged then the NASA type plastic called PEEK can be heated thus avoiding replacing the entire arch and PEEK has “bone like shock absorbing characteristics. Dr. Benting’s results are custom made utilizing a hologram to design over 4.5 months and adding 8mm to my vertical bite for a perfect smile and function. The cost would be $29k per arch including implants for Dr. Benting and Renew Dental but when you compare the 2 day approach from the discount dentist to the carefully crafted and custom fitting teeth that make your face interact with your teeth vs just hanging there and not moving or other people can’t see your teeth when you talk or you bite yourself while chewing and you know something is not right. The “Financial reimbursement Power for the patient” is in not publicly criticizing the Dentist and specifically don’t leave remarks that are negative on the internet but to have Dr. Benting and Renew Dental to put a report in writing with a detailed picture filled with irrefutable scientific Dental facts with a price to resolve the issue but utilizing Dr. Benting who is the go to Dentist for complicated cases where other Dentists either don’t have the skills or you don’t fit their “One and done” business model. So that is why you get what you pay for and you pay an up front payment and you are done basically and the only maintenance and cost should be cleaning the upper and lower bridges once per year around $500/arch and $250 per arch around 6 months without removing anything. It’s better to get the best Dentist from day one so that you won’t have to have everything redone later and so your form, function, bite and your implants never fail and you now look as perfect as humanly possible with the least amount of wasted time and zero anxiety trying to 2nd guess your treatment plan. You may not need any plastic surgery to look younger when your underlying facial support bone structure optimized via Soft transition from your upper and lower bridge customized only for your face does not look like you have a mouthful of a Mouthguard like you are getting ready to either Box or play football or Hockey but a delicate soft transition so that your teeth have a smooth transition so that your face looks normal. Also Dr. Benting allows the patient to determine how the inside of of your upper and lower Bridge interacts with your tongue so that you have optimal room for your tongue to pronounce words correctly using a temporary bridge that allows you to try different variables before the final Bridge based on feedback from actually wearing a prototype prior to the final phase. Then when you are ready to commit on the final shape, materials, color and then ask for feedback from your friends that know you and then only after you sign off on your future teeth: nothing happens so that there are no surprises later. Dr. Benting, Dr. Multine and staff always exceed my expectations every time. Also, UV lights are used to disinfect any room used with a patient as well as I have never seen another patient in the office except the professionals that work there.

Best of the best. If you have issues like implants or crown/bridge you are crazy to go anywhere else. Yes general dentists are cheaper but nothing is worse than paying a lot and suffering with food catching , pain, ugly or breaking restorations. Go see dr benting and get it done properly. I have no idea who the person who posted the 1 star review is, that is not the dr Benting I know. I’m sure all of his other patients would agree with me.

Dr. Douglas Benting is the most caring and skilled professional I have ever encountered. His concern for my welfare as a patient has been remarkable. Prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Benting, I had multiple failed oral surgeries, causing the loss of five teeth and a large hole between my mouth and nasal cavity. As a result, I lost the ability to speak normally, water cascaded from my nose when I drank, and I became a social recluse. Dr. Benting was able to design and create a device which has returned normalcy to my life. I now speak clearly, water no longer flows from my nose when I drink, and I am now able to enjoy social interactions. His remarkable work with me has literally been life changing, and I am forever indebted to him.

Awesome took time to make me feel welcome and not like a burden like some doctors do when u need extra time and attetion. Everyone friendly, professional and super attentive. Horrible experience A year later finally getting relief with another dentist.who gave me options not even addressed with this dentist. After a horrific amount of money and discomfort I requested some help with the cost of replacing what he had done and I was answered with a certified letter stating his treatment and healing process. Not only no compensation but not even an apology, Not only discomfort and way over priced denture did not fit, it made my face look disfigured. If there was a less than 1 star he would be eligible.

He is my favorite dentist! He is gentle when giving anesthesia, he took his time to calm my anxiety. He is dedicated to his work, passionate and detailed. He genuinely cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Benting!

Today was my first visit and I presented with a full smile challenge and a lot of nervousness. The entire office staff was wonderful. Michael, Brittany, Dr Maltine sp? and Dr Benting. Warm. Patient. Knowledgeable. State-of-the Art. I was anxious and confused before Dr Benting’ s practice was recommended to me. And I left the office feeling confident and excited about next steps. A complete and very happy 180.
