Large enough that you can spend all day walking around and still have plenty left over to explore in future days. During the winter it's almost entirely isolated and in the two days I was there I only saw a half dozen people. Very nice paths that range from wide, snowmobile-friendly to narrow, walking-only. Difficult to get truly lost because the larger paths intersect at somewhat regular intervals.

Awesome place top hike, bike, walk or swim. Trails are easy to follow, lots of options. The state park is next to the airline trail which is a nice place to enjoy as well. Year round enjoyment here!

My family went on the Wallis Pond Loop trail and ended up on parts of the Ridge Trail and Midstate Trail. Great views along the way. A couple of spots could have had better signage, though.

Beautiful place.. people suck that don't clean up after then selves and their pets.. I love nature more than most as the lack of cleaning up after one's self showed.. please clean up after yourself make it as if you were not there.. still a very beautiful place very quiet.. large coyote footprint and moose droppings..
