They don't have much exercise equipment but they have everything you need to stay fit. I absolutely adore this place. Its free for all, all you have to do it sign in. Low crime in this area since its right next to district 8 police department. Quiet. They have 2 floors: top floor is a basketball gym, and bottom has weights, restrooms, treadmill, radio, water fountain and large Windows for natural light. Close to park and in the middle of the highlands right off of Douglass Blvd. The location is also very good for bike riders. Would highly recommend.

This is a great centre. I come here to play Deaf Volleyball and always enjoy the grounds. They are kept up well.

The staff at Douglass community center are among the most caring Louisville has to offer. The center makes an active effort to make sure there are activities for all age groups and people with abilities of all levels.
