Great shop and amazing boards! What's up with the homeless camp connected to their shop though? It smells like urine from 50 yards away. If you are going to their shop, I would avoid approaching from the side towards Kapahulu and come down Waialae from Kahala side. Lots of unsavory people hanging out. Maybe a dozen or so camping there now with a full on campsite set up. Really strange!
Really fantastic surfboards made by hand by the owner right in the back of the shop. It’s a brother sister team, shop was founded by their father. They’ll give you great guidance on the right board for you even if that means steering you to buy at another shop. In addition to boards, they also have just about everything you need surfing wise. Great establishment would highly recommend
I stopped in the shop while waiting for my car to get fixed down the block. Talked with Keone... Great person... Honest... Not a salesman like you will get at some warehouse type places.. A pro surfer/shaper who will talk story and wants you to have the right board. Also.. saw him out at Castles on the big day two weeks ago. Killed it. Next board I get will be from him.
Great quality of products and great customers service. You breath Aloha and the "Surf with Aloha" culture as soon as you enter to the store. Keone who owns the shop is always available to share great stories. Highly recommended
Staff and owners are so helpful and kind. The woman working really took her time to help us find the right items
Awesome shop: Fair prices, and there's no impression on my end that they're trying to make a quick buck.
I used to live up on Dole St and I'd hang around this place occasionally when I was like 12 or 13ish. I just turned 50.
Local hawaian shop the best for the Waterman and they have history of the glide with life, mother nature and toys
