Worst doctor’s appointment ever. I was scheduled for a 3pm appointment and had to wait 20+ mins in the waiting room and I was not even seen by the doctor. Some nurse practitioner walked in the room and I told him I was having severe congestion as I’m currently recovering from COVID and he just stood there and instructed me to take decongestions for a few days. He did not even examine me and asked me to come back after 10 days if symptoms don’t improve. However, I will not be going back because the staff did not seem compassionate or helpful towards their patients at all.

Very rude staff and nurses. They will not print papers out for you if you need them done. I was trying to get them to email me my surgery date to show my boss at work but they would not do it. The doctor is very sloppy and does not seem to know what he was doing and I went to another doctor and that doctor said that that doctor was completely wrong everything he diagnosed me of. And he started me on antibiotic when he was not supposed to which made me very sick and I started throwing up repeatedly all night. I would not recommend you go to this place.

Horrible customer service from the receptionist. They rescheduled me a few times due to the pandemic no biggie. Once the appointment came no one called to remind me of the scheduled appointment. As I do take responsibility for it slipping my mind, I still would assume that the office would assist as always. Did not happen. Today is January 15, I call in with a clogged ear for which I was supposed to be seen over a month ago about. Was told that I had a appointment on the 23rd of December and the young lady on the phone was the one who calls. I said well do you leave a message. She said yes, if the mail box is not full. At that point I checked already knowing my mailbox is never full with no message from Detroit ent. The real professional is doctor Pinnock those other people being his greatness down. Here I am now searching for another office to take my business else where. Would not recommend if you care about quality service.

Went to this place for my ear pain …lady doc said i needed to see a dentist which I already knew,but didn’t treat my pain or infection only told me to do vinegar water flushes on my ear ….like seriously do I gotta be a whole year until my teeth jaw gets straightened out a bit for my ear ache to go away?! I’m just wondering do ppl have to suffer all the braces process in order for them to not be in pain on an ear? I definitely think this dictor is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to like yes ,I get it maybe its because of a problem on my jaw but that is not something that I go into a dentist and come out solved they should’ve treated my ear be that was the problem at the moment !

I've been going here for a few years now for chronic sinus infections and severe allergies. Dr Pinnock is very good at what he does and has a ton of experience. He removed my girlfriend's tonsils about 20 years ago. I've had two nose surgeries done by him and it's helped me tremendously. I also get allergy shots at the allergy center that's connected to his office. The staff there allergy clinic are awesome. I don't go to the hearing clinic so I can't comment on that. The only bad thing about this office is the waiting when you are going to see the doc. I've been in the waiting room for two hours and that can be frustrating. Some of the staff in docs part of the building are rude/unprofessional. I say this because it's not uncommon to hear them gossiping lowdly about people. They don't care how long you've been waiting and that's very evident by their attitude. All in all I give it four stars. At the end of the day I am willing to deal with the long wait and a couple rude front desk ladies in order to be treated by a great ENT doc with a ton of experience. He was able to diagnose my sinus issues upon first glance. My primary care physician couldn't figure it out and let the problem go for years by treating my sinus infections with antibiotics then sending me out the door... Van dehey in Allen Park . Both of my surgeries went without a hitch and my whole life has changed. I would absolutely recommend this place to a family member or friend that had any ENT issues. There's a lot of bad docs out there. Pinnock is a good one. I wouldn't get hung up on the other bad reviews.

Update: another 1.5hr wait for an appointment I scheduled a month ago. No respect for its patients. Update: After coming here well over a year now, it is clear that every time I come here for a checkup with Pinnock, I am left to wait for at least an hour before I am taken to the back room, where I am then told to sit for another "at least 15-20 minutes". This is a timeslot that THEY selected for me, I might finally actually get to see the doctor who rushes you in an out as quickly and blindly as possible. Awful. And this happens EVERY time. This loser has too many patients or terrible scheduling and needs to figure his business out. The allergists on the other side are nice and do their jobs, but you have to go through Pinnock, to get to them. I wish I could give it negative stars. It's absurd. I only continue to come because it is close and I need my shots every week. Much of the staff, including office manager, nurses, and doctor Pinnock himself are unhelpful, rude, and snippy. The doctor and staff don't mind making you come in 20 minutes early, waiting another 15-60 minutes, and then want you in and out the door asap whether you are undergoing a big expensive procedure or you are just showing up to pay a bill. It is this way no matter how nice or calm you are I have been there several times thinking I couldn't do any better due to finances, insurance, and location, and it isn't just a Monday or Friday thing. This happened every time I went here. The staff is ignorant, unable to even ball-park a cost estimate on any procedure and laughing when I expected them to know, based upon my insurance which is a common insurance. In addition, they routinely screw up the names of the drugs they administer during procedures and don't really understand how all the procedures work very well. So, when you ask them questions about how the procedure will go about, they get annoyed with you or try to divert the subject or get out of the room. In addition, not 15 feet away, they are generally gossiping negatively about various patients they don't like while you are waiting and trying to ask them a question, that they try to ignore. I felt like I was in middle school with scrubs. Unprofessional. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW HIPA, instead trying very hard to disallow you from viewing all your complete records and LYING to say that they do not even keep them and ignoring you while you wait for 30-60 mins after asking and treating you like you are crazy just for asking. A 15 minute expensive procedure took 2 hours, for example, due to waiting while he chatted up other patients in the rooms nearby. And the doctor took no care in his work and rushed everything. He let me vomit all over myself because he hadn't prepared properly though he knew it was a common occurance during this procedure, and then didn't answer any questions following the procedure or explain much of anything I hadn't already told him prior to the procedure on my chart. It is a lazy, bitter, arrogant atmosphere all around. They try to make you feel lucky to have them by making you feel insignificant. And, it wasn't until I threatened not to pay my next bill that the office manager finally, after multiple weeks, changed her story and admitted suddenly that they do in fact keep all the records and that I could have them. I then was forced to wait another 45 minutes to get them. That is lazy, disgusting, vile, and unprofessional. AND ILLEGAL. This place is a disaster. Any ENT could do what this office does better than this office does. Do not go here and do not be fooled by the pictures and credentials on the walls here. An M.D. doesn't mean a good doctor or a professional; find someone else. Perhaps he is a great doctor as the picture on the wall suggests, but he has a generally unfriendly staff and clearly has too many patients and cannot handle his workload effectively. You are treating human beings--not lab rats. Perhaps this is a sad commentary on the healthcare system here. The allergist lady is nice, however, in the other office of this building.

had a fill in doctor since Dr. Pinnock was apparently on vacation, really seemed like he was just trying to rush me out the door after what i felt was a half asssed exam. My problems still persist and he did not seem to care. I forgot the doctors name [rather he was wearing dr. pinnocks lab coat] DO NOT GO HERE THEY WON'T TAKE CARE OF YOU.

I saw dr. Seymour for quite some time and he was a very caring guy and even the nursing staff was great. Always greeted me with a smile when I came in and always fit me in with a tough schedule. Great office I recommend to all my family and friends. I never wanted to stop going cause I loved them all!

Had a great experience at this office, from the entrance on the covid precautions to the receptionist, medical assistants and Brian. All were super professional and helpful. I would give more stars If they allowed. I highly recommend this office for your ENT needs!

This place doesn't care about you. No matter how severe your issue is, it's 10 days to get in. Then a few hours before your appointment, they will call and push it back another 10 days. DO NOT go here.
