Honestly, this DTLR in Towson is a cool looking store, but, the customer service needs major improvement. The store hardly ever has shoes in my size when something does catch my eye. The staff are more interested in mingling with each other rather than making sure shoppers are getting taken care of. One particular day, I walked in the store with my ear buds in they never say anything to you when you come in the store, anyways, when I could hear muffled yelling. I took my ear bud out and it was one young lady whom worked there yelling at me for not saying, "hello." It rubbed me the wrong way and I decided to shop elsewhere on that particular day.
They need to fix their app, and everything would be great. Everything I order something via the app for instore pickup, the app automatically sets my name as whatever the store location I'm picking up from causing confusion for the store employees and myself so a process that's supposed to be a simple pickup for a item I already paid for ends up being more complicated for both parties
Omg so all these reviews and no one from management has not said a word or try to fix the problem. I had bad experience with ship to store. I want to explain more but why should I when nothing is being done…. Just sad and a waste probably writing this now
DTLR in Towson is the worst in the Baltimore Metro area. The issue is the staff. They are obnoxious, rude, lazy and disrespectful to their customers. This includes the manager, who clearly either has no authority or simply doesn't care. How the hell did these people get their jobs??
I like this place sometimes you can get lucky and find some good deals.
Stopped in to buy a few items. The staff was busy playing and talking amongst themselves as I waiting to ask for a shoe. No one came. Another customer had to walk over to the cash register twice to ask for assistance. I gave two stars because the store was clean and well stocked
Great prices. Excellent customer service up to when I got the register. Ok me of the associates was standing there off the clock. Husband and I were talking about the line and she proceeded to be rude thinking out conversation and comments were about her. Got another employee involved and the girl at the register was awesome at diffusing the situation. Definitely understaffed for this time of year but all employees but 1 were excellent.
Seen the Jordan’s i wanted on line they hade my size available in store ! No complaints
1 employee was easy to talk to she even checked if i had any points before i purchased. She made it easy to shop. Even though i dont know her name she may have been the manager but anyways thanks for helping and being patient with me and my mom.
I recently visited DTLR and was shopping for shoes for myself and my husband . I ended up walking out and taking my money with me because of the lack of customer service and professionalism . The woman in the store which was empty was on a personal phone call the entire time she was behind the counter and never asked me if I needed help, didn’t greet me when I walked in . As I shopped for shoes she didn’t ask if I needed a particular size. NOTHING. I perused the store just to see if she would even get off the phone and assist me and she did not. I did however hear her entire phone conversation and left without making a purchase simply because I was very displeased with the customer service. My husband and I will probably never return to that store.
