Dr. James F. Flaherty, M.D., F.A.C.S.

I’ve no words to explain how highly I respect and appreciate Dr. Flaherty. He’s both a blessing and a gift to anyone referred to him for any of the several cancers he’s an expert in performing surgery on. In my case it was a positive biopsy for a small positive for cancer tumor in my pancreas. The finding itself was a miracle as it was found accidentally while trying to figure out another unrelated issue. So we all know Cancer is evil but Pancreatic Cancer takes the meaning of evil to an entire new level. Dr Flaherty performed a Whipple on me on April 28, 2016. I then spent eleven days on the surgical floor at St Francis where I also received excellent care. In July 2016 I began what was to be sixth months of chemo and radiation. I completed treatment on 2/22/17. Since then I’ve had three every three months contrast cat scans. The third was 11/19/17 & now I’ll be have another on 12/26/17 to check on scar tissue. Dr Flaherty literally saved my life by doing a Whipple to be extra cautious. The tumor was contained which was another miracle. Thanks to Dr Flaherty and all who worked with him and to this day continue to do so, I’ve had almost two more years here that I wouldn’t of had❗️I owe him my life and no matter what God has in store for me , Dr. Flaherty has my eternal gratitude . I’m blessed❗️❗️💜 Thank you Dr Flaherty and all who worked with him for calming my never ending fears and encouraging me every step of the way,never giving up on me despite my worries and. doubts.Thank you for saving me❗️💜 12/20/17.
