Dragon Buffet

We arrived in Charlotte NC on a Friday night kind of late after 8ish. We were there for the weekend trip to Carowinds to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. After we checked into our hotel we headed out looking for something to eat for dinner. My Husband, who loves Chinese food remembered seeing this restaurant from our many visits to Charlotte. As soon as we entered the restaurant I noticed that it was clean and didn’t smell damp of musky. We were seated immediately and not required to pay before dining. That’s a great policy to have. I don’t like being treated like I’m going to dine and dash. The food was delicious and there was plenty of fresh warm food on the buffet bar. There was a lot of food to choose from but not too much food to be overwhelming. I didn’t get the feeling like they were just putting low quality bland food on the bar just to have more selections. Everything I had was delicious despite it being past 9pm at the time. The waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly removing plates and refilling our beverages. Sunday afternoon after we checked out of our hotel we dined there again because my other daughter requested it for lunch. Again, not disappointed and we were able to see the restaurant in the light of day. Same great food and great service. We will dine there again the next time we are in Charlotte.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years with my family and now more since moving to this side of town. Their service is always top tier and the staff is friendly. Food will be brought out fresh if you ask and they have a decent size buffet with good items. This will always be a staple for me in the Charlotte area. The waitress was super nice. The food was just okay. The ribs were delicious. They should have more options to choose from. They should also have hotsauce & duck sauce on the table for the customers to get themselves.Food: 3/5

My family/ friends used to eat here often 8 years ago and the food was delicious, a dear friend bought me here today around 5:pm for carryout, the food was old and looked dry, the wings were so old we asked them for fresh ones, they were broken up something awful, bones were sticking out of the wings they were full of feathers, spring rolls were tough and old, rice , egg foo young the noodles all were old and cold, this is the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my entire life, this place definitely needs to be closed down, food is nothing like it used to be 8 yrs ago ,don't waste your time don't waste your money.

You must try this place the food was so good and fresh it's a buffet and it was delicious. I ate so much I couldn't move after. Very affordable the place is large for big party's my waitress was very nice. If u are in that area try it. its the best Chinese food I've ever had.Food: 5/5

Small place but with a good size buffet. Food was really good and hot. Had all the normal selections plus some I've never tried before. Waitress was speedy with picking up plates and refills. Haven't had a decent buffet in at least a year. This was a good choice.

Food good and service is fast. Buffet always has fresh food. When i place to go orders, food is always ready in 15 minites and I never had a bad plate.Food: 4/5

This place should be shut down until the health inspector comes through. After getting food from the buffet, my grandson started to eat. I stopped him by yelling for him to stand up because, a bug..insect..whatever crawled out of his food!! We got up told them that we were leaving and not paying for anything! Just nasty!!

My husband and I use to eat here on a weekly basis when we worked in Charlotte. We are now in York SC and drive up about every other Sunday for lunch buffet. The food is always fresh. They have a wide selection of food items. Their crab ragoons are my favorire compared to others. They are also reasonably priced and the staff is eager to assist. If you have not gave them try yet......you should.

Try this place! And don't judge a book by it's cover. No offense to them but nothing about their looks make it seem like it'll be THAT great of a place. No fancy pillars, statues, etc. I only went in because I felt like I was starving or else I would've just waited until I got somewhere more affordable. At first glance, they didn't have a huge selection and I didn't expect much out of it, other than to settle my hunger. But I took my first bite and was SHOCKED to say the least. It was SO GOOD! Every bite was as good as it's last. I'm seriously blown away because normally Chinese buffet THIS good, are the bigger, fancier, larger selection type places with those statues and fancy fountains.
