Food was horrible. Lunch menu was 8.95 but everything was xtra, egg roll, white meat etc. no sauce for egg rolls. The brown gravy for mandarin chicken was black and tastes bitter. Chicken was very very thin and was not crispy. Won’t go there again. 3 lunch plates for $8.95 ended up costing over $47 and that was no drinks, or tip. $3.00 eggroll 1 was good. Chicken tasted like cardboard.
The food was fresh and delicious. Came out fast and the menus had great prices too. The workers are friendly , best Chinese food around. I got the chicken with riceFood: 5/5
I always get take out, they do have several tables but it is a small space. The general tsao combo specials is $12 & often enough for 2 meals if you aren't extra hungry. It is hands down some of the best Chinese takeout I've ever had! They are usually real quick, too. Highly recommend!!!Food: 5/5
This is how many chopped onions they give you if you order Mongolian beef. There were like less than 4 strips of meat per dish. The fried rice also seems frozen, it has no taste and the Mongolian beef had an awful rotten taste. I will never order from this place again. My dad ordered the Kung po shrimp and he said that wasn't too bad but that it had no flavor. We also ordered the wonton soup which was a clear broth with awful tasting dumplings. This place is horrible and shouldn't even be in business.
It’s so rare that I leave a bad review of a restaurant. Even if the food is not my style, I typically will not hate on any place. However, this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The rice was a weird color it should be darker and I suspect that they just have frozen rice which they thaw to order. There was no flavor. The onions were almost uncooked somehow, which further tells me the rice was frozen. The bbq pork was at max in chunks around the size of a pea. I’ve never gotten fried rice with so little meat. For $10, at least have some more meat in it. The sweet and sour might have been raspberry jelly, it was a weird texture and overly sweet with no sour at all. The crab Rangoon a were awful. They’re a weird shape, mostly just bread with a tiny bit of cream cheese. The corners were extremely hard and overcooked. This type of American Chinese food is among the easiest food to cook, coming from someone who worked at a Chinese restaurant for years. If you can’t make this kind of food and make it delicious, the restaurant business might not be the right gig. I have never said that about a restaurant but I’m quite confident now after eating this awful food.
I come here for to go. So far this has been the best Chinese take out. Don't sleep on the Beef Stick appetizer. Sesame Noodles and Pork Egg Roll. Sesame Chicken Combo to finish it off
Fried rice is bland. Might as well just eat white rice. Crab rangoons are so sweet they almost taste like a dessert. I've never had egg drop soup that tasted exactly like scrambled eggs until this day. The kung po and sweet and sour chicken are only half decent because of the saucesFood: 2/5
The food looks prety good. I got 2 of the unsweetened green teas. The curry shrimp looks pretty good. The wonton soup looks pretty standard. Ill try the taste once I get home. Its to-go only. They have alot of to go orders . anyway yhe interior looks nice and the food smells good. I do recommend.
My go to quick, Chinese, take-out place in NOLA! The food is super cheap, delicious, and comes out fast. I love the crab rangoons, chicken and broccoli, and wonton soup.
Its one of those cheap hole in the wall chinese restaurants with mediocre food. Its really hit or miss. I went with friends and some of the food was just not good. We got several combos and some appetizers. The spicy chicken was terrible. The Generals Tso's chicken was also not great. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, if you like the over battered chicken bits that resemble golden brown terds with a bowl of bright red overly sweet sauce. The crab rangoon was stale, as if they cooked it hours before and microwaved it before it was served. We also got egg foo yung, which wasnt too bad. The best thing that we ordered was plain white rice, only because its hard to mess that up. The staff was nice and accomodating, but I cant recommend this place due to the quality of the food. This place offers ok value, but there are way too many good places to try in the area.
