Holy smokes! This dry bar is the nastiest I ever been to! They dont care one bit about their customers! They are quick to take your money, make you wait for at least 10-30 mins but will not work with you at all if you fail their policy. How is that fair They also take all appointments even when they dont dont enought staff. They dont even have enough chairs in the front
DO NOT GO HERE! Will never return again. My family had a special occasion 11/13/22, so I decided to get a blowout at Drybar. I figured this would save me time and my hair would look good and I wouldn't have to worry about it. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment I entered, every interaction with the staff was unfriendly. I got there early, checked in, but still had about 15 minutes before my appointment, so I walked around outside. When I returned, there was no one behind the front counter. I waited and waited, then finally an employee asked if I needed help. She was talking to a friend and actually rolled her eyes when she had to stop chatting and come help me. The entire time I was there, employees were chatting about their personal lives, talking to one another, but not interacting at all with their clients. I heard about who went out the night before, who was still wearing last night's makeup, how the salon was entirely out of hairspray HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?, etc. My stylist ripped my hair so many times while drying. She kept catching the strands that were in the clip, separating the sections, while using the round brush. My hair looked fine when she was done, but again, not a can of hairspray in the place, so I paid, left, hoping to make it home in time to spray it myself. I immediately left the mall and had a 10 minute drive to get home. By the time I got home, my hair was nearly straight. Needless to say, I had to completely redo my hair myself and couldn't believe I paid $55 to basically get my hair washed. Next time, I'll do my own hair, because it ended up looking better after I did it anyway. I have attempted to contact their corporate offices through email, since they don’t post phone numbers anywhere. Their website says you’ll be contacted within 48 hours. No one has contacted me yet and I’ve sent messages in daily for the last 5 days. I left comments on their instagram page, which they deleted, then they blocked me.
I’ve been to this Dry bar once before. The first time was a complete disaster!! I decided to give them another try and boy I’m so glad I did! Raymond did such an amazing job on my hair. I asked for someone who is well versed with African American hair, and that he was! He made this experience such a great one! He’ll be my stylist from now on! He made sure I was ok throughout the entire process. If you have 4c hair Raymond is the man!!! Thank you so much Raymond for making my day!!Services: Blowdry
I had a horrible experience today. I schedule an appointment in advance and ask for someone who is able to curl black hair. Two stylus completely messed up my hair I looked worse than when I came into the salon. Instead of doing what was best for the customer and asking one of their black stylist to curl my hair they tried to defend their training. It wasn’t about their training they made my hair look raggedy and they obviously did not have training on the heat need it to curl black hair and a technique. I’m extremely disappointed.Service: Hairstyling
This was my first time ever going to a dry bar and I was a little scared at first because I knew it could either go great or horrible no in between! But I was so satisfied with my experience, my stylist Brianni was so sweet and professional, she did exactly what I told her I wanted! I left feeling beautiful. The customer service was also on point as soon as I walked in all the way through leaving everyone was friendly! Not to mention it was also my birthday the day I went in and after leaving to go to my bday dinner my family and friends couldn't stop complimenting my hair so I will definitely be coming back!!!Services: Blowouts
I actually like Drybar bc it's a fairly quick alternative to me doing my own hair, PLUS it's extremely reasonable, price wise. This has to be my third time going over the course of a year and I leave with my hair looking great! My only drawback this time was the wash, hence the three stars -- I didn't feel that my hair was thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed, which I expected especially after telling my hairdresser that I had a lot of product in the front of my head from my last hair style. I also went as far as touching my hair to see if she scrubbed any at all. All in all, she was just a tad bit too timid with my hair -- so next time I'll have to go with my hair washed already out of fear that I won't receive a really good wash
My first experience with a blow dry bar.I took Never again. Took an hour and 20 minutes to leave me looking like I washed my hair at home and did nothing to it. I was so excited because I see beautiful photos online from the Drybar website so I booked a blow dry on my birthday. I went to brunch after looking like I didn’t do my hair.
It was my first time and when I walked it they were quick to upsell me with the add-ons. Then they just as casually said the wait was 1 hour!! The funny thing though was they called me the day before saying due to scheduling issues of the staff they needed to move my 6pm to 4:45pm. I rearranged my schedule and said ok. And now they atoll me at 6pm anyway! I said why didn’t anyone call and say this until waiting for me to show up they said they just now got phones. Huh? The phones worked when they called me the day prior. Literally all they want is $$; customer service is not their forte. The girl, yes not woman, girl said this is the best she can do is “put my name down.” Girl I had an appointment since 2 weeks - what are you putting down?!!Service: Hairstyling
Great experience. Brianni did a FANTASTIC job on my daughter’s 3c/4a very long hair.Service: Hairstyling
I visited this Drybar recently to have my hair styled for a wedding. The stylist was adorable. She understood my unique hair needs and the look I was going for. She was friendly, kind and professional. I loved my hair and was very pleased. Update: I've continued to visit this location and continue to be impressed with their service.
