Drybar - River Oaks

I have been a Drybar customer from their early days back in the Bay Area. While I recognize that their work is great and they have very talented stylists, I must also say that punctuality is not their strength. The last time I was there I had a 4:15 appointment to which I showed up on time. There was no one in the front desk and frankly it wasn't busy. Finally someone acknowledged me and I was told to wait for my stylist, that it would take a minute. 15-20 min late my stylist finally came out of the staff room and I got a good blow dry. My point is not to comment on their services but their lack of punctuality, there is definitely room for improvement.

This will be my 3rd time returning to this dry bar. I had no issues the first time. I had originally scheduled an appointment at 1 pm but then I called to move it later and add my friend. They offered me an apt at 2:15 and my friend at 2:45. The day rolls by and I get to the dry bar and they said my apt was at 1 pm and I told them I had spoken to someone who moved the apt. So the person at the front desk was like oh I see it, you did call. And then he proceeded to be like well...we don't have any apts available tough luck. I had a photoshoot planned. This is not good customer service and I will not be returning back.

I showed up 10 minutes late I mistakenly thought my appointment was at 7:30 but it was at 7:15. They said they couldn’t take me until 9 and then when I said that time didn’t work, they still wanted to charge me for “cancelling”.

Loved my experience! This was my first DryBar experience at this location, and it was important to get it right as I had a video shoot later that day. Chelsea was AWESOME! She listened to my desires, totally understood my hair type, and ensured that my hair would last all day. It look great the following day too! She was such a talented stylist and an awesome person. I arrived on time to my appointment and 30 minutes later I’m still waiting. They need to post their scheduled appointment times more accurately.

Love DryBar! Such a fun way to get your hair done before a special event or just for some mom self care. The products smell great and your hair feels so soft after the styling. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!Service: Hairstyling

If you want to wait around for your appointment to start so you can be late where you need to go then this is the place for you! I had to wait over 30 minutes just to get started. Don't expect people to show up on time for their appointment even threatening to charge their card if they're late when you can't be on time. On top of that the service sucked from being greeted, helped, and the blowout itself. Drybar does a great job but NOT this location.Service: Hairstyling

Always do an amazing job here!! Give yourself a little extra time. They are usually booked solid and hairstylist are so detailed sometimes it gets backed up. But totally worth it!

Love it!! No cuts, no colors, just blow outs I personally hate doing my hair, it’s a hassle!! It’s easy to schedule an online appointment and then your out! Shampoo and blowout made simple.
