Du's Grill

I’ve been visiting this restaurant since I was old enough to chew my own food. A true Portland staple. I Got the opportunity to check in on my top 10 Portland restaurants during my trip home Portland recently. Du's Grill. I was overwhelmed with memories of highschool lunch trips to this wonderful eatery. I got to bring a friend for their first time too. Ordered on the phone. Picked up. Seems like a great place for lunch, mainly blue collar workers sitting down. Seems very busy during lunch. Chicken was a little dry for my preference but still pretty good. Good portions, prices were a little high to what it use to be. Friendly staff. Parking: 3. Street parking mostly

Certified Portland legend right here!!!! Soooo much flavor and the sauces are out of this world. You asolutely must wreck this food!!!

Updated January 17, 2023 I have been a customer since 2016. Du’s Grill used to be my favorite restaurant for teriyaki chicken. I ordered two chicken teriyaki combos. The portion sizes have gone down and prices have gone up. I understand having to raise prices due to inflation, but you cut the portion sizes in half, this is just greedy. I won’t be returning and I can no longer recommend your restaurant to friends and family.

Please , do yourself a favor and enjoy a wonderful meal. It is very reasonably priced and well worth your money. Vegetarian options: Limited selection Kid-friendliness: Small dining room however kid friendly

We’ve been coming to DU’s since 1996. 5 stars forever. With the absence of Mr and the late Mrs we’ve seen the product slide down. Chicken was dry and the to go container is literally half the size of the original. We understand inflation but come on people! Not happy. I haven’t seen their son in the store the last three visits either. Not the same

Been great for at least the 8 years that I've been going there. Was super delicious today just as good as always, people super nice. perfect

Absolutely amazing. Perfectly simple, small little whole in the wall pushing out quality teriyaki dishes in a timely manner. It’s clear why this is a Portland Staple, and now a staple in my rotation as well.

Good food made with local love. This place brings great teriyaki to the area. Delicious salad dressing and sauces. Meats are cooked with the perfect char and great flavor. Come and see the action in the kitchen, the view will make your mouth water.

Love this place. Nice people and great food. You don’t come here for the ambience and parking can be a pain in the butt during busy times, but the food more than makes up for it. Only tried the chicken and beef they have yakisoba among others and it’s never let me down. Dressing on the salad is addicting.
