"Dual Citizen is a community-focused brewhouse born from a few simple beliefs. An understanding that substance beats trends. A recognition that community roots run the deepest. The understanding that what unites us is far greater than what divides us.Our core beliefs shine through in all we do. They manifest in every recipe we craft, every pint we serve and every conversation we foster. We’re not about chasing trends or trying to recreate another city’s vibe. We are about modern, inspired takes on familiar favorites. Prompting meaningful discussions. Purposefully bridging gaps and uniting our community through shared values and responsibilities. As Citizens, that is our duty and our obligation."

Went here for a group event and it was the perfect space for it. The seating area is pretty small compared to other breweries but still has cool high tables. The raspberry seltzer tasted like juice and was very good. The best part is their partnership with the Naughty Greek where they deliver the food to your table! **I don’t think they make the CBD drinks in house but they were completely flavorless and would not recommend.
Another Pub pass stop only 1 more to go!! and this place was great. Just an fyi you need to show proof of VAX- we showed a screen shot on our phones. Bartender was friendly and informative as we don't really like 'hoppy' beers. The ones we got were both good. Place was busy but more then enough room to spread out. I imagine it would be a blast in the summer. Bonus- it was Santa pet photo day so it was a hoot watching all the dogs!! Will definitely stop by in the summer and even pick up food from the Greek place nearby!
Exceptional beers here--it's been too long! I ordered a flight and so did my dad. It was the Good Good, the Improvisational, the Cereal Money, and the Tropics. The Cereal Money was dark--not quite my style, but it grew on me, and I'm glad I got it. The Tropics was a good sour, but it actually enjoyed it more with a taster than a 10 oz. later. I looked the Improvisational more then the Good Good--it was fruitier, by my dad liked the Good Good the best.
First time to visit Dual Citizen. Happy I tried it. If you are an avid IPA lover, don't bother reading further. It's just not my thing. Although, they do have a great variety options, don't get me wrong. I started off with a flight of four. I tend to like the dark beers, stouts and porters, but not if they're hoppy that's too bitter for me. 1-Join Us On the Vista Nice start. Flavorful and a great summer beer for a dark beer lover. I'll get it again. 2-Luck of the Loons Really nice. Similar reaction to the Vista. If I had to choose between the two I'd pick the Loons. It will be good in all seasons. 3-Cereal Money milk stout Rich and thick like I like them, but for me it's pretty heavy on the coffee and not enough on the cocoa nibs for my taste. The finish is a soft linger and, despite the coffee, a pleasant ending to the glass. 4-North Border Oat Porter For today's visit this is my favorite. Sitting outside on the deck, 82 with bright sun and sitting in the shade with a light breeze, it hit the spot. I'm a big fan of malty beer so I'm biased. This is a smooth, great by the lake, chilling with friends and family kind of beer for me. Liked it! One downside, it's almost 6 pm and I need food. Not an easy add to the visit as they have nothing to fit that need on sight today. I'm going to have to move on for food. But you should check this place out.
Came here for the kids events advertised on Parent MN on Sundays 12-2 extended for mother's day unfortunately there wasn't anything for the kids. Not even a soda selection only 1919 root beer. Very calm atmosphere with lots of selection of seating.
If you’re looking for consistently great beer, great service, and a damn lovely environment to enjoy a few brews, this is the spot for you. They’re dog friendly, family friendly, and you can bring your own food though if you ask nicely there Heggies available, too. It’s even an easy spot to have DoorDash delivered. Been a loyal fan for a long time now and intend to be for years to come.
Very comfortable and warm atmosphere. The beer was very good and had flavors I don't usually get to experience. The rye ale was especially good with lots of spice. I can't wait to come back!
Great atmosphere and great beer! The Oktoberfest beer is excellent. The space is open with its very high ceilings and huge windows. Both look like leftovers from its former warehouse or industrial use. The wood tables and stools make the place grounded and warm. Attentive staff served up tasty beer. I went after work on a Thursday for an impromptu happy hour with 5 other coworkers and there was plenty of room for us. Family style seating at one long table in the middle, just like in Germany! Friendly and attentive staff. Parking can be tricky. Street parking at a meter right outside the door or find free parking on Raymond. Take the Green line and get off at Raymond. Hungry? Get tasty food from the Naughty Greek just next door. They’ll deliver it right to your table.
Great ambiance, reasonable pricing better than most taprooms nearby. Free games. Minute one star for relatively lackluster quality of beer. Minus another star for lack of food options/snacks. There is free parking across the street.
Best Brewery in town: Dual Citizen Brewing Company. For years I have prided myself on adventuring out and enjoying the craft brewery culture of Minnesota, Minneapolis - St. Paul in particular, and I can say with confidence that this is my favorite. From the moment you walk in the door, the sense of hard work and adoration for the brewing community, and local community at large, is felt throughout down to the smallest of details. Beyond the utter deliciousness of the full spectrum of beers presented; all named after local streets recognizable to anyone who has ever visited: Lyndale, Broadway, Ayd Mill, Grand, ect... the festive and easygoing nature of service makes you feel as if you're at your own bar sipping with close friends. The beers make the most of full flavor without being weighed be down by overly malted or hopiness. Dual Citizen is a must drink for any beer lover and a wonderful new staple in the community.
