Duane Reade

Just called to see if I had any refills on 4 prescriptions that I get here monthly and the girl was so rude, she would not let me speak after I had been on hold for 15 minutes and when I asked if I could speak to a manager she hung up on me. I called the next morning I went in to ask if I had any refills and I was told no. Sure enough 2 hours later I get a text saying my 3 prescriptions were ready to be picked up. Will not be back staff are rude and incompetent. Will be going to Rite Aid from now on

OMG PHARMACY: ANSWER THE PHONE, ANSWER THE PHONE, ANSWER THE PHONE. Have been on hold for over 40 minutes

This is one of those stores you go into to get what you need and want to escape immediately. I just moved to the area and it is my closest Duane Reade but really thinking about switching to somewhere else. Among other factors, I have been trying to reach a pharmacist for over an hour and have tried numerous times but no one is answering the phone. :

The staff here, especially the bald ugly SOB "Izaberry", is incompetent. Although you can blame it on the mind numbing and depressing work they do, the blame must rest at the top of the store - the store manager, and whoever above them that decided to hire that idiot. If the store manager is dumb enough to tell their staff that it's okay to ignore customers that need help and is enough of an imbecile to tell them that it's okay to give attitude to customers, they all must be FIRED.

The staff at this location are very professional and courteous. I had an issue with my prescription and the staff member at the pharmacy assisted me and the problem was resolved. The store is very clean and organized.

I am very pleased with the way Joe, the Pharmacist, and David, the store manager, rectified an insurance error that was made filling a prescription. They responded immediately, spent a great deal of time on this, and were able to resolve the problem. Thank you Joe and David.

Unprofessional! They do not pick up their phone when you call them. I’ve been on the line for 1 hour and they just hung up on me. It is my first and last time going here. Wouldn’t recommend it!!

The lady pharmacist on July 7, 2020 was so efficient and friendly. She truly helped me in short notice filling a Rx before closing time.

Although this is a decent Duane Reade, their prices leave a lot to be desired. While they do keep things looking nice and well organized, they lack staff during busy hours making for unnecessarily long lines.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and incompetent at this location. I waited an hour to get a flu shot and never even ended up being able to get one.
