Great place to hang out and have a cigar in air conditioning! The owner and employees are friendly and helpful without being patronizing or intrusive. If you want advice they are there to assist. If you want to grab something and go, they will accommodate you. I'm an experienced cigar smoker and both times I've been there they've made recommendations which I heeded and enjoyed. Go buy a cigar, light up, find an overstuffed chair to sit in, and enjoy the AC!
Stunningly nice cigar lounge with great selection. I drove by this place for months and never stopped. Go inside and check it out. Really nice JJ Fox london feel and great exhaust system. I'll be a regular here out.
Just had the pleasure of spending a few hours here with a buddy of mine. I can tell you this place is 5 Stars all the way! When you walk in you are welcomed by one of the friendly employees or the owner himself. The Lounge is lit in a way that gives you that traditional lounge feel as with the decor. The Humidor is a large space, well humidified, and filled with a very large selection of sticks that are also priced well. I saw a 1 Star review recently and I'm not sure why. My guess is its one of their competitors because everything about this place was great. I know real cigar guys and gals wouldn't be like that and try to belittle other cigar folks online. If you are in the area and need a place to relax or on your way home and need a couple sticks I would highly recommend stopping in to Dublin Hound, you wont regret it!
Called the store asking for a specific cigar that is very hard to find liga #9. Les turned me on to another cigar and it did not disappoint. Go see Les the man knows great smokes!!!!!
Bigger means better right, not always. Discovered this small great cigar lounge when I visited Kingwood. Didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised with this 5 month old shop. While compact it had a great looking location, comfortable chairs and a nice selection of premium cigars. The staff was enthusiastic and it was full of locals, which is always a good sign. So, again, its a compact public lounge area with a large walk in humidor on HWY 59 North just before Kingwood. I highly recommend them as a cigar lounge destination.
Absolutely amazing cigars great selection less so Farrell the owner is just an amazing guy real Kingwood staple highly recommend to anybody who is in or around the Kingwood area really really really just a good experience all the way around you can never go wrong
This place is extremely rare, in that I was expecting rude staff. On the contrary. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and a great experience. Lots to choose from and if you want to hang out with friends and smoke some great cigars and sip some donated whiskeys this is the place to be. I came all the way from Shepherd to try them out. Now they have a custom for life. I will be telling everyone about this place.
Great place to chill and have a great smoke. Selection is fantastic. There is always a great group of guys hear that like to talk and interact. Les the owner has a fantastic of knowledge of tobacco as well as cigars. This is your place if you want to have a quality fresh cigar that produce a great experience.
I typically don't complain or write reviews but spend your money else where. They have Friendly staff but besides that they have Dry Sticks, Dirty Lounge, Almost tripped on a nasty cow hide that has seen better days, Dirty Bathroom, Dirty Rugs, Dust everywhere, and had to leave the door open because the Air purifier can't keep up with 3 people smoking cigars. Specs has a better maintained Humidor than this place.
I am writing a review for the first time because I was greatly impressed by the customer service and hospitality at the Dublin Hound. I called before flying into Houston about certain brands of cigars. The person who answered was helpful, patient, and had a great attitude. He also turned out to be the owner. When I called other shops in the area, they were rude or dismissive. When I got into town, I took the chance of driving far out of my way to go to this shop instead of closer ones. It turned out to be worth it. The owner was even better in person and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t want. Plus they are military/veteran friendly. If your looking for cigars, definitely give this place a look!
