This classic dive bar themed place has all the fun in a small location. The food is great which they serve till 10pm and the bar is just too much fun. they have live music and also Karaoke on Wednesdays. I hope the dj fixes his equipment because its not always the best gear, but it is still very fun.

The fish and chips used to be the best, they have changed the kind of fries they use, and other items for much poorer quality. Definitely stay away from the Ruben. The shepherds pie is ok.

If the servers like you, you're lucky. If not, good luck getting their attention AND respect (literally had to hunt the server down, then received attitude as if I was giving the waiter a disservice when your job is to get everyone's order???? ). I would not recommend going here. There are better pubs around.

My 2 must haves in an Irish pub are conversation nooks, and Tullamore Dew. This pub has both. We went on a weekday, and it was pretty quiet. The bartender served us, and was kind enough to bring a bowl of water for my service dog as well. A friend and I started with whiskey and Irish nachos. Thier version of Irish nachos was crispy fries covered in cheese, with bacon, and salsa - which we opted to have on the side. I did try them with the proffered ranch sauce though, and was deliciously surprised. I had the shepherds pie, and tried an interesting version of the classic Monte Cristo sandwich. The shepherds pie has ground beef, corn, carrots, and a mashed potato top that was then covered in cheese and baked to a crisp. That's not exactly a traditional recipe, but I'm sure that lamb or goat meat comes at a premium these days, and beef is more familiar to an American audience. I would like to have seen the option on the menu though for us adventurers. Personally, I can't get enough cheese and when it's crisp and gooey from the oven, well... even better! The Monte Cristo sandwich had been entirely battered and fried. This gave it a thick crunchy outer layer that I enjoyed. It was served with a side and raspberry jam. Very generous portions, good food, good service and fantastic whiskey ... an all together pleasant experience.

Was dragged to this place by a suicidal friend. After experiencing the nasty, skunky microbrew they sold in the place I could see why my friend wanted to kill himself. Figured I'd try to cover up the skunk taste in my mouth from their gross microbrew, so I made the mistake of ordering lunch. Ugh. Greasy and disgusting. 90% of it was still on the plate when I left the place, and the other 10% was deposited behind some bushes about a block away. The staff was inattentive, but not rude. There are better places in town to overpay for bad beer.
