Duchess of Boston Sailing Charters

I worked with Captain Chris at Duchess of Boston to plan a proposal to my Fiancee, and it was an amazing experience. Throughout the planning process, Chris was very responsive and knowledgeable. It really relieved a lot of the planning stress working with Chris. On the sailing trip itself, everything was perfect. Chris and his wife were extremely friendly, and did everything to make the experience wonderful. Chris did a great job teaching us about sailing, and the restored boat he has is beautiful. Sailing with Chris is perfect for an intimate group or a proposal, obviously. When it came time for the proposal, Chris was a pro- he had my Fiancee get up to steer the boat, and had me beside her so I could propose. Chris had allowed us to bring our own food and drinks as well, so I was able to toast with some Champagne after she said yes! Chris is a very safe captain as well. I appreciated the focus on safety throughout the boat ride. The dock that Chris uses is also a really nice facility with restrooms for before/after the trip and there is a bathroom on the boat for emergencies. I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than on the Boston Harbor with Captain Chris!

We had an excellent time with Captain Chris. After spending 3 days in conference, he took us out for a great time on the water. He made us feel safe, comfortable and was a good entertainer. The sunset and city lights were gorgeous. It was a good mix of history and beauty. I would definitely recommend this trip to others.
