Dunham's Sports

I went to this store yesterday to purchase a paddle board. Advertised price of the board I wanted was 299.99.. great price. I asked for assistance from the front desk. . The employee was less than helpful. I found another employee. . Again. . Not interested in doing his job. I went again to the front where finally some help. Well we got to the board. . I asked a few questins.. non answered. I stayed to pull the board out. The employee asked. . Do you want to look at it. . Yes. Ok. . Now we take it to the checkout. The price came up 599.99.. different than the Sale price. . The clerk rang it up again. . Same price. I reply... the sale tag. . Attached to the board said 299.99.. both male employees seem to be of no interest in what I'm talking about. I ask for a manager. One is, paged . But was in break. I left without a paddle board. Not impressed.

I returned an item in perfect condition within 30 days to Dunham's with the original packing and the receipt. I was asked my home address; phone number TWICE; photo ID; email address; original credit card that was used; and had to sign my name TWICE. Although I can understand the need for store policies to protect them from merchandise being returned without a receipt, I do NOT understand why they needed my email; my phone number twice (when he had just entered it into their system) and then my signature twice (when I had just signed it and then again on a paper copy)? I will not shop at Dunham's again because of the hassle in returning an item.

Nice staff but the store has few archery items. They have a good variety of other items though.
