This location has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I usually do not write negative reviews, but it was so bad that I feel like I need to. I went into the store instead of drive thru because I was unsure of what I wanted. When I walked in, none of the 3 employees that I saw even acknowledged me. I waited a few minutes, thinking they were just busy with drive thru. They did have a large order screen on the counter so I tried to order from that while I was waiting, However, some of the choices that I wanted were not on the screen but I could clearly see them on the racks in the store so I choose to wait for someone. After another minute or two of the employees ignoring me, I went over and said hi to them. One said hi back and walked away. The other just told me to order from the screen. When I said that I tried but not all the choices were there, she said yes they were and refused to help me. I decided to leave. Ordering donuts should be a simple process, not a frustrating one. I would understand if there was just a single employee trying to do everything but there were several employees. Enough to at least have decent customer service. And if you are not allowed to order donuts in store, maybe they should lock the doors and make it drive thru only.
I go to this dunkin once every week and sometimes more than that, and i have been for many years since i live relatively close. I always order ahead on the app for their rewards, and pick it up in the drive through. Lately the employees have not been very friendly and today and picked up an order for myself and my boyfriend which were both incorrect, and the lady was real rude and handed me my drinks as quickly and forcefully as possible. This is your job in which you are getting paid to meet customers expectations, regardless of if you are having a bad day. Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal if the drink is slightly off, but i paid extra for my cold foam so id like them to make it how i ordered it. I didn’t bother going back just to get attitude. There was the tiniest squirt of cold foam on both drinks. Like i mean it didn’t even cover the top of the coffee, and the lids were regular lids. This dunkin has really gone downhill. Maybe take the extra time and go to a different one.
I ordered and paid via the mobile app. I took my time, got dressed and left my house. I got there and the coffee was not ready. No big deal. I waited… and waited and waited. Countless customers coming through the drive thru and in the store and ordering after me and getting their coffee. I ordered at 9:25, it was not until 10:18 that I got my coffee, and that was after I went up and asked for an update. I have worked in food service and understand being short staffed and busy, but almost an hour of waiting for a coffee is unacceptable. I was sitting in the store clearly waiting. No acknowledgment from staff. Saw them look at the order paper on the counter multiple times. Don’t waste your time with the mobile app unless you pick it up through the drive through.
I know working slinging Coffee is hard work and I am REALLY lenient with my Dunkin expectations bc I understand that. But this last experience was the final straw. I realized they were charging for large cold drinks, but have no large cups. I got ripped off several times and still went back. But after having to repeat my drink order five times over the course of 15 minutes- I'd say my order, he would say "ok hold on" and silence for 3-4 min before asking me to repeat "hot chai with oatmilk" I still got a cup of coffee. I am an East coast hard-core Dunkin lover, but this is embarrassing. Don't bother.
If I could give the service negative 5 stars I would. Today they closed everything up but the drive thru cause it was busy in the drive thru, which duh little girl it’s probably cause you closed the lobby. I’ve never been to a business ran so poorly. Countless times the employees don’t know how to make the drinks or they are always out of the basics. I’m finally done going here and will go to Starbucks since this location can’t be ran like the others. I think this store needs better management and not hire kids that can’t handle working a lobby and drive thru. Also maybe hire people who want to work there so they are friendly…
I’m perplexed. Every DD I go to except for ONE in Raleigh NC years ago is as inconsistent as can be with the Bacon/egg/cheese croissant. This location has been no different. Some mornings it’s decent, some mornings it will have one, thin, burnt piece if bacon. Some mornings it will be hot. Some mornings it will be cold. This morning I got one that was ice cold except for the croissant. I circle back and tell the girl and there’s no “I’m sorry sir let me fix that for you”. I get looked at cross-eyed and told “that’s weird because I just made it”. I tell her to feel it for herself and she says she can’t and she will make me another one. She hands it to me, I say “thank you”, and I get nothing. I’m not fishing for apologies here. I’m fishing for anywhere near standard customer service. Make the food correctly the first time, smile and say “you’re welcome”, or “my apologies, I’ll make that right for you”. In my line of work, if I treated my customer base this way I would lose them. It’s sad that companies get so big, things like this don’t matter. I’m successful because I’ve created Ravin Fans for customers. When I screw up, I own it, I make it right and go above and beyond, and then I go about my day. EDIT- 7/27/22 Don’t ask me why I did it, I guess curiosity killed the cat. 3 thin, unseasoned pieces of bacon. Cold cheese. Just garbage. Threw it away and will never be back. Of course there’s no response to the reviews here, because it’s a chain and they just don’t have to. People will show up for their garbage food no matter what, because of the name. Sad. Just sad that this is how a business is allowed to operate.
We fully understaffed for last several months. Walk-up door locked and sometimes only one worker at drive-thru means line will back up into street during morning rush.Food: 4/5
This place is absolute garbage they never take the time to make sure they get your order right there's always up to 30 cars blocking off traffic everywhere because they don't have enough people working at the store so they shut down the lobby. I had to wait 45 minutes to order in the Drive-Thru and they messed up my order and it took me another hour in the Drive-Thru to get to the window to get my order replaced the owners of this company definitely have no idea about anything of business management
This place is great, mainly because of the staff! Super friendly and always get my order right! The coffee is good but the service is what makes them shine. Now if only they would add a tip option to the app... I mean cummon corporate, ppl don't carry cash, you know this! Allow customers to tip if they want if Starbucks can do it so can you!. Keep it going girls! You guys rock! Even my furkids get excited by DD!
Rockstars are my favorite drink now that in the green teas are always my favorite. When I go to Dunkin, I always look forward to having a refresherFood: 5/5
