Although the diner is rather small the food was excellent. I had the meatloaf dish and enjoyed throughly. We were there on Sunday and there several TVs tuned to the football game which made the meal kind of have that feeling of being in your home watching the game. The drinks were very good and the waiter was very attentive. All in all it was a good time.
Duplex is a mainstay of the LGBTQ DC bar scene, but has cheap eats as well. The squeezes are great & so is the entertainment -- the staff is the best. One of my faves.Food: 4/5
Been a couple times during our week visit. Dinner, appetizers another time and even brunch one day all were cooked to perfection. their food is picture perfect they taste great. The staff is cute and fun and the place to self has a great atmosphere.
Great food, good drinks. Lots of sailors. Busy place but we were seated quickly. Staff was friendly and courteous. Grilled cheese could have used some mayo for bread that thick. All in all, a great place for a bite and a drink.
Amazing gay restaurant, the atmosphere is immaculate. The food is also really good
We went on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. We had the chicken ruben and it was ok. Music was really loud inside so we sat outside. Service was ok.Food: 3/5
What a lovely place to stop by for a quick drink or a home cooked style dinner! Grab a Lemon Squeeze or three and a basket of tots! The bartenders/servers are great and know how to work a crowd. The food is great. The squeezes are so good you'll find yourself on the pavement outside if you're not careful! Highly recommend a visit to this lovely spot!
A very cute vibe and great food! Their menu has plenty of variety and the cocktails are great!
Inedible. Zero flavor. We had a veggie omelette and southern Benedict. Both were pretty gross. Not worth the money at all.
Great restaurant. First time there and it was delicious and great service.
