Duplin Winery

Great place to visit if you are in the area and are a wine lover. We drove into north Myrtle specifically for this visit, and it didn’t disappoint. Some other reviews have mentioned something I would agree with, and that’s the fact that this winery has a bent towards sweeter wine, which should be obvious because of the grapes involved, but just be advised that we only tasted one wine classified as dry, most are sweet or semi sweet. The tasting is very informative, and they take plenty of time to go through everything along the way. Even though I’m not generally a wine drinker, I think any wine lover would enjoy the atmosphere, and the people, all of which were very helpful.

Very beautiful building with fun, inexpensive wine tastings, multiple bar areas & unique items to purchase. Lots of tables & chairs outside with live music & wine bar. I think it would be helpful if the bars were not cash only. Also, there should be a few more food choices available besides cheese & crackers or fudge.

We visited the N. Myrtle Beach SC location and it was beautiful. Our Wine Tasting bartender Connie is so good and knowledge she made it a very memorable visit. I encourage everyone to visit either the main Duplin Winery in Rock Hill, NC or if you are visiting Myrtle Beach SC don't forget to schedule a visit to their N. Myrtle Beach location you won't be disappointed!

Being from California, we were skeptical on how the sweet wines would taste compared to what we are used to back home. We were pleasantly surprised! Staff is super friendly. We signed up for the 10 tastings - you get your tastings, cheese and crackers and your choice of wine afterwards. Kim was such a good sport with us. We kept referring to the smell of the wine - but she kept us laughing. She definitely knows her product, she deserves a raise! Thanks Duplin for a great time.

Great wine tasting and information for 5.00 dollars.. and you keep your glass! Beautiful deck with live music. Great wine and service, a must stop!
