We've been to many Ethiopian restaurants, but we were unimpressed by the food. Maybe we are just used to more Americanized versions of Ethiopian, but we had a lot left over and none of us wanted to take any home, so that says something. We had the 10 combo veggie platter, the lamb tips, fish tips, and peanut yam soup which tasted like it'd make a great dipping sauce for a skewer. We would try somewhere else next time.
Been to E’Njoni Cafe a few times. Their veggie plates are a bit richer in texture than other spots in town, so really good for cold weather nourishment. We celebrated our kiddo’s birthday at E’Njoni last night. The host helped us ring in the cheer with a techno-flavor birthday tune. We had a blast! Will definitely be back.
It’s annoying I ordered doro wet it’s stinky , it has been frozen forever , it test so bad. I throw my $23 food to the garbage. Don’t waste your money try another Ethiopian restaurants.Food: 1/5
Great food, and great service. Definitely a good place to go if you're looking for something hearty and healthy.
I got the kikil goat stew and a St George to drink. I showed up right as they were opening, but despite interrupting their prep they were very friendly and attentive. The stew was nice, the meat well seasoned and tender. Will definitely be back with my wife to try a larger variety of things next time! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options, and the menu is split clearly between vegetarian and non veg options.
The food was delicious. We ordered medium spicy. I wish we would have gone with hot. Nevertheless it was fantastic. The honey wine was refreshing and delightful. I had an espresso shot as well, which hit the spot. I would highly recommend this place. It's great for intimate conversation and I especially like the social aspect of enjoying sharing your meal, which to me is more personable.
Truly delicious food. Best plate I've had in a while. Bite of the night was the peanut yam soup with the injera. Be sure to order extra sides of their condiment sauces, it's worth it. Vegetarian options: Lots and lots of vegetarian dishes
Absolutely delicious!! E’Njoni is a beautiful family run restaurant, the ambiance is wonderful and warm! The service was excellent! We loved the flavorful tea and the red lentil was our favorite dip! Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Tasty Ethiopian fare. Wide range of spiciness options from savory foods to hot and spicy dishes. We ordered multiple dishes to share, which ranged from wonderful to average. Cozy and modest decor and pleasant service.
Excellent food, fantastic service, we will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian selection!!! Tons of great options!
