HORRIBLE!!! I sent my daughter here for barely a month. It is hard enough to leave your child in the care of someone else, forget about how heart breaking it was to see my toddler so miserable while she attended the early learning center. When I interviewed this daycare and went on a tour I specifically asked if my one year old (who has been walking for months now & really enjoys playing with other toddlers) would be spending time outside of the infant room. It is really important to me that she is able to get outside everyday (weather permitting) and that she plays with children who are on similar learning levels as her. Lisa, the director, assured me that all the infants join the toddlers twice a day for music and story time. This was a complete lie. I understand she had to be placed in the infant room since she is under 18 months, but why lie about her getting to spend time with the older kids? She was the only child walking in the infant room, and only one other was crawling. So she did not have the type of play and socializing with other children that is necessary for her growth. Meanwhile one of the teachers (the directors daughter in law) kept her infant out with the toddlers on a daily basis. It seems very unprofessional for such immediate family to be working with each other, and favoring certain children over others. Another issue I had was that when I would call to check on my daughter while I was at work I would be told by one teacher that she was having a great day, and she ate a very hearty lunch... then upon picking her up her teachers would tell me she had another rough day, cried most of the day, and refused to eat her lunch. For about 5-6 weeks this went on. My daughter only had several good days while attending this awful place. Needless to say she is in different daycare now, and absolutely adores being there, and I am relieved to have my HAPPY child back. There was a huge change in her mood while attending the early learning center. I wish I had pulled her out sooner. My list of things that went wrong, and were so poorly organized in this daycare could be enough for a small novel. I won't list all the other negatives, and I really can't offer any positives. If you love your child, do NOT enroll them in this daycare.
