Went here several times pre-covid, but went for my first chiropractic appointment since and while the practitioner is very experienced and the office staff were super meticulous, the practitioner refused to wear his loose cloth mask fully over his mouth and over his nose which read: “over 60 studies show masks are ineffective”. He told me he had the opportunity to get vaccinated early but won’t go get it. To each their own in the privacy of their own home, but how can I feel safe and comfortable as a patient if they care so little for protecting my and other patients’ health.

I normally believe in good reviews. I had severely hurt my back and was in excruciating pain. Belmonte happened to be in network for me oxford/united. I booked the appointment, same day hoping for some relief. I get a call back before the appointment that they will no longer be able to see me. My guess is they don't get a great co-pay from my provider. Not really a sign of a doctor who cares that much about patients in pain. I could be wrong, but usually my instincts are are good. The happy ending is I was able to find a wonderful provider just a couple of blocks away.

Dr. Belmonte refused to see me because I was a medicare patient and was told that I would have to self-pay. Some minutes later, I received a call saying that the practice would not be able to see me and canceled my appointment. EVEN THOUGH I WAS WILLING TO PAY FOR MY VISIT!

I am new to this experience, but the staff and Dr. really made me feel comfortable and I will be a recurring client from here!... I do wish they had a more digital experience though!

I saw Dr. Belmonte in August of 2016. He was pleasant and made a gentle adjustment. I called the office this past Saturday when I woke up and couldn't turn my head to the left. There were no same day appointments and the next available was for today Tuesday. I got an email from the office on Monday evening asking for my insurance information - apparently they lost it ?? Really ??. Then they emailed me on Tuesday am to cancel my appointment because I needed a referral. Even if this was true I go to other specialists for whom I don't need a referral every time I make a new appointment, this should have been taken care of when I made the appointment 3 days ago - not an hour before the appointment. The office staff wouldn't even give me Dr. Belmonte's provider ID # so that I could quickly obtain a same-day referral my PCP is great that way. This was sloppy and a terrible way to treat patients that are in pain.

When I first came to E53Wellness, I had intense lower back pain and could not even walk comfortably. In less than 3 weeks, the pain has dissipated and I experience little-to-no pain when I walk. Through the various massages and stretches, I also feel much less tension in my neck which historically caused me discomfort and entire body in general. I even breathe better! I’m so grateful to Dr. Ralph and the entire team at E53. My only regret is that I didn’t visit the officer sooner!

I always visit whenever I have a problem with my back, neck, and Dr. Belmonte and his team has been taken care of me so effectively over years. They accept major insurance, do not overcharge, and recommend the best possible treatment combining stretch, massage, and all. I love it.

This was a truly great experience for me. I have been to chiropractic for decades and I am a triathlete and what is unique here is that Dr Belmonte began with electric stim and then had Kristen a massage therapist come in and work on me for 15-20 mins before he adjusted me. This combination is a winner and I am ecstatic I was recommended to him. I will be a regular here without question. Thank you Dr Belmonte !!!!!

Pulled my back out for the first time and was scrambling for help. Since walking through their doors last month, I've been treated with 1st class care. Almost back to 100% with the help of everyone; including the Doctors Great Guys, Massage Therapist Magic Hands and even the Receptionist Infectious Smile. THANK YOU ALL!!

Everyone at East 53rd Street Chiropractic and Wellness is wonderful. They really listen, and always take care of me in a personalized, wholistic and extremely effective way. It’s a completely professional environment that still has a great welcoming family feel. As an athlete who frequently needs treatments, I’m so grateful I found them!!
